Excellent Specs for the Price.
by robincd08 on January 2, 2011
Pros: WIFI enabled. Bottom line a great semi-smart phone for the price
Cons: None. Using Nokia's downloads you can install some great software for this phone. Its a lot of bang for the buck!
Summary: Love it. A Great substitute for us Blackberry users that are sick of the whole blackberry experience. By the way...The C3 by Nokia is built tough. I've dropped ...

AVOID IF YOU'RE SYNCING WITH APPLE COMPUTERS
by CNET-CDN on August 20, 2012
Pros: - for Apple users, none.
Cons: NO APPLE SUPPORT (software, downloads, updates, Nokia phone support, carrier support (CHAT-R in Canada)

Summary: I unfortunately got sucked into buying this phone by CHAT-R counter sales reps in Canada who, through ignorance or malice, failed to mention the phone was incompatible with Apple computers.
Before you could say "what do you mean, only 2 weeks to return the phone after purchase"... I was the proud owner forever, of a C3-00.
NOKIA provides no support, APPLE offers no workarounds, and CHAT-R phone support will flush you faster than you can say - Drat! when looking for help with the phone.
Basically there will be no connection between your phone and your computer if you're using Apple. You might be able to take pictures, or have great music, but good luck moving files between them. Same for phone numbers or calendar info.
The only functionality I found was thanks to similarly sucked in users who had turned to themselves and someone had slapped together some homemade thing that allowed iSync to provide some basic in/out between the computer and the phone.
So I manage to transfer some of the contact/calendar data however, I'm never sure if the transfer is complete or correct since this is someone's DIY programming.
But, as the updates to the phone software are released, you'll be chasing Windows based friends and trying to figure out how to use their computer to update your phone.
Apple may be the most valuable corporation on the planet as of August 2012, but it would seem to the management 'professionals' at Nokia they're still some small fly-by-night operation whose 'fringe' computers don't require any attention from Nokia (or maybe it's Apple's pesky iPhone products that just leaves Nokia so "couldn't care less").

Pros: Nokia, 'Nuff said
Cons: Home and Clear key can be hard to handle, too small

Summary: For me also same thing is happening, it is getting turned off suddenly, i took the phone to Nokia care in bangalore but they told they can not repair it. I purchased the phone 2 months back from UNIVERCELL (near Big Bazaar, Kathriguppe, BSK 3rd Stage) but when i first opened the phone for changing the SIM card, the cheap cover fallen down, and from then it is getting switched odd frequently. NOKIA, please give us good material or else no end customer will purchase your product. NOKIA phones are having manufacturing problems.

Summary: I should have never bought this phone. It was a waste of 60 dollars. I knew it was going to be a piece of crap for the first time I turned it on. I have to wait about 20 minutes to even use it after I turn is on, or it freezes and I have to take out the battery. I've only had it 5-6 months. Today was the day I needed the camera most, and the stupid phone wont even turn on. I'm tired of it, and I DON'T recommend you buy this phone. Its horrible.

covers phone basics plus email and web searches.
by liam457 on July 9, 2011
Pros: It takes a bit of getting used to the QWERTY keyboard for text. Phone works as it should. Keys are sensitive to one's touch. Linked to my email account easy enough. BluTooth pairing to my BT ear clip and BT enabled car speaker was no problem.
Cons: The option locs for email, internet link and web search is confusing, 2 being on the menu and the other buried inside. Only 2 shortcut keys. OVI Store is a mishmash of items mostly travel and "utility" apps. It lost my ringtone download.
Summary: It's a good cellphone with decent quality and some of the bells and whistles of a 'Smart' phone. My carrier was offering these at a huge discount so it ...
Summary: It's a good cellphone with decent quality and some of the bells and whistles of a 'Smart' phone. My carrier was offering these at a huge discount so it was in my interest to step up from the nearly antique flip phone I've had for the last 4 1/2 years.

Big Disappointment. Short lived.
by swallowingsky on June 13, 2011
Pros: -It's cheap.
-Nice messaging interface.
-Imitates a smart phone pretty well.
-You can get it in a Pay As You Go, which eliminates annoying salesmen at an AT&T store.Cons: -Everything breaks eventually.
-The call quality is god awful.
-See below.Summary: I was given this phone as a gift about six months ago. I have never had a smart phone, so having an imitation one was a big change for me, ...
Summary: I was given this phone as a gift about six months ago. I have never had a smart phone, so having an imitation one was a big change for me, as it was also very similar to the old BlackBerry that I had had. The first month I had it, it worked great. It had great free apps to download (Even though most were in a middle eastern language because it had hardly any publicity in America), it could surf the web, check e-mail, and do instant messaging. After a month though, everything started breaking. I could no longer view my photos or my phone wold freeze and I would have to take out the battery. The apps store suddenly wouldn't recognize my phone as a Nokia product and would no longer open the store, my contacts would disappear and reappear as it chose, and the once clear call quality became hard to hear. It even started not listing missed calls, and delivering messages way after they were sent. It was a good phone for the first month, but it became no more than a brick phone as it's life span went on. It's cheap and fancy to start with, but in the end it was nothing but a handicap, I would not recommend anyone buy this phone, as it will just end up turning into a paperweight.
(Although this isn't the phone's fault, if you still want to buy this phone and you are experiencing the same problems, the service stinks. I called AT&T about my app store problem, and they transferred me to Nokia, who only had to say (And I quote) "That's odd, is there a way I can help you with that?") -
Tough, all-rounder budget phone...
by K.S. Lee on April 16, 2011
Pros: FM Radio & MP3, Bluetooth, WiFi, 2.0MP camera, connectivity up to Edge network. Micro-SD memory slot. Can't ask for more at an unbelievable price around USD130!!! Includes tools such as chat (Yahoo, GTalk), Facebook/Twitter and e-mail. Yeah, and did I
Cons: No GPS, no touch screen and no 3G which is fine.
Summary: Quite a handy phone to have at a budget. Does quite a bit of tricks for the price point.

This Nokia mobile comes in a classic design
by dhavalpandya123 on April 11, 2012
Pros: Innovation is the key to stay competitive in mobile market, and this mantra has been strongly promoted by Nokia mobile. Perhaps this is why, the mobile maker has a large customer base across India.
Cons: Nokia has been renowned for its price policy, which is very consumer-friendly. Everyone can afford a phone even if it is one from the latest Nokia mobiles. Hats off to Nokia guys!
Summary: I like the bracelet design from these latest Nokia mobiles; but what if the skin starts sweating in summer? Hope they have considered such details while designing models.
