Pantech Breeze III - gray (AT&T) price range: $29.99 - $189.99

The good: The Pantech Breeze III has a slim and stylish flip-phone design. The display is bright and customizable with large fonts, and the keypad is spacious. It has both an easy and advanced mode to suit customers with different comfort levels. Features include a 1.3-megapixel camera, voice command, quick access keys, 3G, a music player, a pill reminder, Bluetooth, and GPS. It also offers improved call quality.
The bad: The Pantech Breeze III doesn't have too many design and feature improvements over its predecessor. Some features available in advanced mode are not available in easy mode, which makes sense for some functions, but seem arbitrary for others.
The bottom line: The Pantech Breeze III is a well-designed and affordable entry-level handset for senior citizens, kids, and cell phone novices.

*** P.S. If you will buy this Pantech Breeze III I suggest at: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CPHE0C/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=***************&********=as2&camp=217145&creative=399373&************=B005CPHE0C
-Excellent call quality and volume.
-The microphone is good.
-The phone is customizable, but it is easy to keep the advanced stuff out of the way when you don't need it.
-You can get information without even opening the phone via the little screen on the front, and the notification LEDs.
-The notification system is nice. (this is from a webOS and Android user)
-Battery life is good.
Neutral-
-There's a lot of AT&T logos on this thing. One above the outside screen, one below the inside screen, one on the 'OK' button, and when the phone is open, the outside screen has the AT&T logo on it.
-There is some AT&T bloatware on this, but it generally keeps out of your way.
-Shortcut buttons under the inside screen. These will be useful to some, but it can give the feeling that there are too many buttons on the thing.
-A control phone with voice button. Useful to some, but a dedicated button is overkill.
Cons-
-The outside has a bit of cheapy plastic that creaks sometimes.
-The camera is placed precisely where your fingers are going to be.
Bottom line-
This is a very nice phone if you just want it for the basics (calling, and the occasional SMS). It's probably one of the best phones on AT&T if you just want to call people. I originally had a HTC Aria (Android). This beats it in call quality in and out. This is also quite good for technologically illiterate people. It's very easy to use.
This one deserves five stars.

"A Real Cellphone"
by johnwwayne on December 29, 2012
Pros: It has a very good sound quality, the ring tones are loud and the speaker phone. And also the talk listening volume. You can hear someone very clear. It has Noise Suppression so when you are talking to someone they can hear you with no problem.
Cons: what I don't like is the 3 short cut buttons at the top. The phone can do without those. And I don't like having to change the Phone Mode to get to certain sections of the menu. It has Breeze Mode or Advanced Mode they should have made just one Mode.

Summary: The main thing is I'm old fashion. I only want a cell phone. And if your like me this is one for your. After all the cell phone was made to take the place of the old Beepers. One of these days when they advertise the cell phones they are going to tell you about the Music, the Movies, the GPS and all that kind of stuff. Than at the end of the advertisment they are gonna say, and you can even use it for a CELL PHONE to.

Firmware issue handling image files?
by boffy2460101 on October 21, 2011
Pros: Easy to use in Breeze mode once someone who knows what they are doing sets up the phone in Advanced mode. Easy to read and reconfigure (font size, colors) display. Very good call quality.
Cons: Ran into problem reading image files both on SD card and phone memory (pictures folder) where after a few images are displayed the phone sponteously reboots. Could not figure out the problem, so requested replacement unit which had the exact same issue. C
Summary: I purchased this phone for my wife for ease of use in Breeze mode with uncluttered menus. Due to problem with handling jpg files had to select a different phone.

I'd buy another one in a heartbeat
by naturenut1 on August 31, 2011
Pros: Easy to use. Paired with my car automatically. Automatically connects car bluetooth when I start my car and disconnects when I turn engine off.
Cons: Instruction manual could have been a bit more complete but even I could figure things out by trial and error.
Summary: I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. Highly recommended.

Summary: I really like the phone even though I've heard ecos on a few calls. The battery life is poor and gets down to one bar within a couple of days with light use. I hope it is a defective unit so I'm sending it back Gave it five stars because like the phone. If the next unit has the same problem, I'll edit this review or write another one and rate the phone one star. Thank you ATT! Almost switched cell phone companies because of your lack of support for non smart phone offerings. NOT VERY SMART OF YOUR COMPANY! Like many others, I just want a phone I can make calls with that has a nice camera. BTW... this camera has low resolution but takes clear pictures.
