  A phone for anyone.

  Pros: Large screen
  Brilliant display
  Almost unlimited customization
  Excellent battery life
  8 megapixel rear camera
  Loud internal speaker for music or calls
  Extremely fast

  Cons: I've been thinking for twenty minutes now and honestly can't think of one except maybe the price, but for a smart phone it's really not even that pricey.

  Summary: I was an iPhone user for years and years. Always agitated by the fact that customization aka "jailbreaking" was taboo. Anyone who has owned a smartphone longer than a week knows there's always something about it you'd change if you could. I finally switched to the Droid OS last year and didn't like it for the first week. It wasn't what I knew, I kept trying to lock the phone at the top it was all just unfamiliar. Luckily I gave it a chance and kept my Galaxy S III. After the first week I really started to understand why people loved this phone so much. There really is an "app for that" with droid. I didn't like the stock keyboard so I downloaded a new one. I didn't like the way the screen showed icons and moved so I downloaded a new launcher. All the things I had to go behind closed doors to personalize on my iPhone, I could personalize right out of the box with the Galaxy S III. The fact that it outshines the iPhone 5 in every specification with the small exception of screen pixel density should speak for itself. This is a great phone and if you have the chance you should try it out.

  vs my 4S... in particular screen brightness, touch & VR

  Pros: fast processor, clean responsive transitions, single hard button similar to iPhone.

  Cons: Not as bright as the iPhone 4S, texting and auto correct is slow, S Voice is not even close to being a vision of Siri. It was completely useless, where with Siri I type complete letters, texts, and emails.

  Summary: I love the larger screen size and was looking forward to adopting an android phone. But it just came short to a technology from well over a year ago. Im still much faster on the iphone even after using the S3 for several days of non-stop use. The iPhone just simply types and recognizes much faster. Now I look forward to iPhone 5, hopefully it will have a larger screen and not disappoint.
