The good: The Samsung Rugby 3 has a terrifically responsive dial pad and enhanced push-to-talk support.
The bad: Audio quality was subpar, the shared headset/charger jack is inconvenient, and for a durable phone, the body could be grippier.
The bottom line: Very poor call quality is especially unacceptable on a simple cell phone. Unless you require AT&T's push-to-talk service, keep looking.

not very rugged. far below par of previous versions.

Pros: smaller and ease of operation. Screen well lit and easy to see.
Cons: Falls well below par if compared with the ruggedness of the original. Hard to hold when using it. Push to talk function still cannot be shut off.

Summary: I purchased this phone today and I really love it. I do not want or need a smart phone right now and I wanted something that was durable with all physical buttons on it. I also wanted something that had a louder ringer volume than my previous phones, which this phone definitely has. The audio quality is great for both the ear speaker and loud speaker, the phone feels sturdier in my hands, and it is a little bit heavier. The internal and external displays are easy to read. Definitely a great phone for those who want a durable feature phone with push to talk capability.
