The good: The Sanyo Innuendo has a functional feature set, agreeable call quality, and a comfortable and spacious messaging keyboard.
The bad: The Sanyo Innuendo's exterior controls and display aren't very user-friendly. Internal performance was mixed and the audio was somewhat distorted at the highest volume levels.
The bottom line: We still don't love the design concept, but the Sanyo Innuendo succeeds as a messaging phone with some multimedia.

A decent phone if it didn't have so many glitches.
by Cindyr941 on September 24, 2011
Pros: It's not a smartphone, but it has many smartphone capabilities if you subscribe to the Sprint Data Pack. You can send and receive Gmail, interface to Google calendar, receive calendar alerts, get on FB, listen to music & it has a decent camera. Good
Cons: Consistently drops calls. Incoming calls go straight to VM & sometimes I don't receive the VM until the next day. Battery needs to be charged once or twice a day & I don't even use it too much (because of dropped calls). I could never cancel my

This phone is horrible, one of the worst I've had.
by incv on January 17, 2011
Pros: Key board is easy to use and fast for texting/emailing. Threaded text messages feature is great, like chat where you can see previous messages on the same screen.
Cons: Freezes constantly, if sending a text at the same time phone will freeze and must turn off or take out battery. Accessing certain features take forever i.e. loading personal calendar. Also touch screen dialing often dial the wrong numbers.
Summary: Good for a person who only uses their phone on occasion to make/receive calls. Horrible phone for those who text or use aps frequently.

Don't waste your time with this phone
by mjfekete on December 23, 2010
Pros: Nice, easy to use keyboard.
Cons: This phone is terrible, tons of software issues, seems as if it was never even tested before shipping, this phone is poorly designed and not user friendly or intuitive.

Great Phone
by jpbhello on November 29, 2010
Pros: I don't see why people say you can hit buttons on the screen. If people read the manual they would know there is a button on the top of the phone that can lock the keyboard during calls, or while in the pocket. Overall a nice phone with a good setup.
Cons: Overly complicated camera.
Summary: This phone is great and if you read the manual and did a little set-up it is very simple to use and very fun for all of your needs. It ...

I do not like this phone, returning it.
by shamarieon on November 20, 2010
Pros: The feel of the phone is nice. It looks nice too. The keyboard is the best thing about this phone.
Cons: It freezes way to often. When answering be careful how u handle the phone or u will hang it up . The front is too sensitive. I personally do not like this phone. Ive had problem with ring tones downloading, it gives me an error every time.
Summary: Bottom line is to go into a store and ask to check the phone out first. If you are only going to be texting then maybe this phone will be ...

In the process of returning it
by jenjamin0503 on November 12, 2010
Pros: Great for texting- nice keyboard, takes good pictures (which you can't see unless you open up the phone- they are not on the touch screen)
Cons: worst, most inconvenient phone design I've EVER had- always hanging up on ppl when I accidentally brush the touch screen while talking or taking it out of my purse, awkward for taking pics- finger ends up in front of lens, very frustrating phone

Summary: I am in the process of exchanging it w/in the 30 day period. Save yourself the time and get a different phone like I should have done in the first place. The camera does take nice pics but it is very confusing to use (seven different resolutions, five different settings on a CELL phone?) and it is virtually impossible to take a self-photo. The worst is the front touch screen which only shows the keypad, it comes on when a call comes in so if you pick up your phone wrong, you hang up on people. Then while you are talking, it comes back on it you brush against it and if you bump it again you hang up on the caller. I'm done with it!

Decent Phone for The Right user
by msky2000 on October 29, 2010
Pros: Nice widescreen display when you flip it open. Great for web viewing, texting. Lightweight, super stylish with a light up screen that disappears and reappears based on when you use it.
Cons: A little awkward with the buttons you may bump them from time to time during phone calls. These are small annoyances in exchange for the style and functionality of the phone. Battery isn't amazing, but not terrible.

Summary: I think it's the best phone I've owned for the reasons I need a phone - which is to just check emails, access the web quickly and make phone calls. A little bit of getting used to, but definitely stylish, light in the pocket, and does everything you need without having to spend all that insane money on a bulky smart phone. I use this alongside my iPod touch and can get all the same things done as smart phone users at a fraction of the cost.
