This Phone has got Class
by iYammo on January 31, 2010
Pros: Good call quality
Classy design: sleek, small, comfortable, and sturdy
External display is kinda cool; hologram-like
Easy-to-use interface, great buttonsCons: No Micro-SD card slot
Low internal memory (12 MB?)
No MP3 playerSummary: If you need a phone with solid functions and a classy look, the SCP-3810 is the phone to get.

First, the looks. There are many negative reviews about the lack of a large, mega-colored external display. Now, if you really NEED to see the picture of the person calling you before you answer the phone, or if ?wallpaper? on the external display is a make-it-or-break-it issue, then this phone is not for you. However, if you like sleek, slim, mature-looking phones with a classy hologram-like display that has caller ID/time/alerts and disappears when it goes blank, consider this phone. For the past four years I?ve had a phone with a large, colorful external display, and I can?t say that I miss it.
Now, if you want your phone to be your main internet, email, music, TV, 5 MP camera, and GPS gadget, then you?re better off getting an Android/iPhone, or at least one of those bulky QWERTY-keyboard phones with annoying, tiny keys. However, if you need a phone to make calls, send text, and occasionally use for internet/email/GPS etc., you will be more than satisfied. The camera is pretty good, and admit it, the ?flashes? on the other phones don?t extend to more than two feet.
Battery life is great, as the interface is white-on-black, which saves battery power. The radiation from this phone is pretty low too, so if you?re a guy like me who keeps his phone on his belt, this is a big plus.
The downside I can think of is that there?s no micro-SD card slot, and internal memory is like in low double-digit megabytes?not exactly up-to-par. But hey, there?s a micro USB port so you can transfer photos, videos, and voice memos (which you can record while on the phone! Pretty cool) to your computer. I think there is no MP3 player either, so take that into consideration.
In short, this is a down-to-earth, yet classy looking phone. If you don't need the whole multimedia thing, and want a phone with a classy look and good call quality, I think you won't regret buying this phone.2 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

Satisfying basic phone
by Razzl on December 20, 2010
Pros: long battery life, full range of features for a flip phone
Cons: camera nothing special; some features require study manual to figure out

Summary: I imagine many would-be Credo Mobile customers are as appalled as I was at the user ratings of the outdated phones Credo offers, but the Sanyo (whose actual model name is the "Mirro", though nobody including CNET seems to notice) looked like the least bad choice, so I went with it. So far I'm very happy, it's a flip phone with all the features I would hope for in that configuration and they all work better than my older Samsung. I'm especially impressed with how earnest Sanyo was about squeezing out battery life--if you fail to touch any keys for even a couple of seconds, the display goes off, but doesn't interfere with your position on the menu. Bluetooth connectivity means I will have some hope of transferring my contacts to the next phone, not an option on my older phone. Unlike others I've found the speakerphone and voice quality to be very acceptable, though it's always a matter of what you're expecting based on what you're accustomed to. The camera doesn't seem very good in low light,, but it's not a feature I need. If you want to go Credo and you're not needing or wanting the expense of a smart phone, the Sanyo should satisfy your basic needs without any big drawbacks...

nice. Sleek, I like the mirror design. Lite weight.
by Ravensfire1 on December 1, 2010
Pros: nice size screen. Good size keypad. I like that you keep pressing volume down and the phone goes on mute when you go into docs offices or wherever.
Cons: Drops carrier all too often. Go under a tree and the call drops.

Summary: All in all, I agree it is a good phone. I don't like the LACk of customers service at BOOST I think they have the worst foreign customer services reps of anyone besides DELL COMPUTERS I sent three of them back in four months and the service was awful. Well, BOOST stores won't even help you when you run into a problem. The Sprint stores say they have no answers for any of our questions like the store in Springfield, PA on BAltimore Pike. Customer serivce in America is bad but sending our jobs overseas to answer something as simple as phones - should be illegal.

Like KATANA LX, great phone, quality, battery, etc.
by Sprint2001 on October 26, 2010
Pros: Basic phone with high quality, good battery length, good reception, and nice appearance.
Cons: It's a basic phone with basic features. Those commenting negatively on this phone obviously want more features. Don't buy this phone for the features! This is a basic phone for making/receiving phone calls with a few additional/adequate features.

Great flip phone for voice and messaging.
by vinhluu on September 24, 2010
Pros: Large screen with good font is very easy on the eyes. Large keypad with good, soft tactile feedback. Threaded messaging. Useful tools common to most Sanyo phones. Very ergonomic design, nice to hold.
Cons: Inability to navigate Contacts by Group. Searching is the only reasonable way to find contacts. No way to transfer pictures or sync calendar and contacts with a computer, as far as I can tell. Call quality is just average.
Summary: All in all, this is a very good, basic phone for people who simply want voice and moderate messaging. Would highly recommend for such a user.

Too many compromises on basic functions.
by User12368893399 on November 1, 2010
Pros: Looks o.k. Easy to use interface, generally.
Cons: Can't transfer picts to computer. Speaker phone is bad. Built-in third party voice calling software takes too long to load and is useless. Visual notification of a message is a tiny red flashing light every five seconds, so it's easy to miss.
