The good: DECT 6.0 cordless phone; relatively inexpensive; 1.5-inch LCD; sleek design; expandable up to 12 handsets; speakerphone on handset; integrated digital answering machine on most models.
The bad: Shiny black front and back of phone attracts fingerprints; no headset jack in handset for hands-free operation.
The bottom line: VTech's LS6225/LS6215 series may not have quite the range--or the features list--of some Panasonic models, but it's very stylish looking and affordably priced.

Modern attractive phone

Pros: Slim, light weight, great call quality. Good speakerphone. Easy to see display. Easy navigation button system. Large numbers on the handset are easy to see both in the daytime and darkness. Comes with metal hydride no memory battery.
Cons: No battery charge indicator except when it is about to run out.
No headset jack.

Rating Vtech, but not this model

Pros: None (True - I am not rating this model, but the company itself based on previous experience).

Summary: I will never consider buying any product by that manufacturer. I will not touch any VTech product ever again! A few years ago we bought a pair of their wireless phones. One died a month later, the second one at the end of the third month. I don't care how slick or cool their products look any more - to me their making garbage! Cheap and not lasting long enough to get used to them.
