The good: The 3DS XL increases the 3DS' screens by 90 percent. It's a much more ergonomically friendly device, and the 3D effects seem to be easier to see. The XL also feels much sturdier, and the battery life is definitely better than on the original 3DS.
The bad: The XL still doesn't have a right circle pad. Its larger screens can cause some of the graphics to look a little pixelated and blurry. The 3DS still lacks a blockbuster game library. Transferring data from console to console is a bit tedious. The 3D effect is still very sensitive and easily becomes undone.
The bottom line: The supersize Nintendo 3DS XL is a solid portable gaming device, but its thin game library keeps it from being a must-buy for existing 3DS owners and newcomers alike.
Pros: Bigger Screens with less glare, Longer Battery Life, Nintendo eShop, Joystick
Cons: lack of a second Joystick.

Summary: This is definitely the Ds system you should buy even if you don't care about the 3D. The screens are amazing the cameras are fun to play with, the accelerometer and gyroscope add more fun ways to play and enhance augmented reality games, and the eShop ads a lot of fun downloadable content. Definitely worth the $199 price tag. The only real complaint is the lack of two joysticks, but thats if I'm nitpicking. All in all this is the best Ds yet and this is coming from a guy who had the original Ds and the Dsi. Definitely worth the $199 price tag.
