  PSP 3000: It's there

  Pros: The new features, Mic, and better screen. The thinner halo gives it a better feel. There's no more thumb prints all over the body, (Thanks to the matte finish.) Does everything it says will do. Can challenge gamers all over(Thanks to WiFi capability)

  Cons: The screen (still a finger-print magnet, sadly) Internet Browser...Old Flash! (Therefor you can't watch videos on YouTube. Only if you download PSTube, which can only be on it if hackable.)

  Summary: Great handheld. Worth the price, $199.99 which includes Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets, and a voucher from Echochrome. Not worth updating if you have 2000. But if you have a 1000 (PSP Fat) you should really think into buying this one!

  awesome nice upgrade

  Pros: come with game, movie and memory card new titles look inviting and it does everything a portable media player should and more.

  Cons: I wish it supported a higher version of flash for the web browser(currently only uses flash 6) wish sony would make some sort of voice recorder to make better use of the built in microphone.

The playstaion store also allows you to download content(games,photos,themes,game demos and sample music) straight to your memory card.

  Only if you have spare cash..

  Pros: 1) Much better color and brightness reproduction than earlier generations.
  2) The jagged lines are not a big issue; in fact from standard distance they are not visible.
  3) I felt the response time is a bit quicker; game-load times are the same

  Cons: 1) If you plan on using PSP for internet, very soon you will throw it in the dustbin. The keyboard typing is HORRIBLE, just HORRIBLE.
  
  2) UMD is another pain in the neck. Makes PSP an expensive device. Why not use normal CD/DVD mini drive?

  Summary: I just bought the PSP-3000, my first PSP. I am very pleased with the performance. But it is a really expensive console. If you are not a mobile person, build a gaming PC for 400 dollars (200 for PSP anyway)! But if you travel a lot of "4 hour journeys", PSP is a good bet. Get a 4GB memory card full of music, and two-three good UMD games you play and sheer entertainment is promised. Also, you can at least manage to check your e-mails if you find a wi-fi, but that will be it.
  
  Gaming is a good experience, but no support for anti-aliasing so it lacks that shiny smooth graphics. Gameplay and controls are decent.
  
  In a nutshell, expensive, but impressive. But this is going to get dated very soon. Expect the prices to slash in next 3-4 months.

  Summary: Not sure if it is worth upgrading if you have the 2000 series already but from the 1000 series I think it is worth it. The big thing for me was the better screen. Colors are much better and screen is easier to see in daylight. I do not regret getting the new one but I probably would not have if I had the 2000 series already.

  Worth the upgrade!

  Pros: Love the fact that my finger prints aren't all over the system anymore (Thanks to it's matte finish) and the crisper, brighter screen is worth upgrading all by it's self! The face buttons (And d-pad) feel a whole lot better. I love it!

  Cons: I wish Sony had a music download service (Like iTunes) so I could download music straight to my PSP (Making my iPod obsolete!) Here's to hoping.

  WAY better then the 2000
