  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Honda Fit

  Pros: Really comfortable interior. Very flexible design can fit my kids, dog, husband and the all important djembe drum. I love the gas mileage, too. I have been getting close to 30 in the city... better on the highway. The little mpg gauge is great!

  Cons: This car is sold without an armrest for the driver. (I have a base model.) They offer a console armrest for a mere $315 installed. Highway robbery. Also, found the whole dealership experience a drag. Come on, Honda. You can do better.

  Summary: Bottom line is that this is my first brand new off the lot car and I am thrilled with it. It is cute, fuel efficient, flexible and lots of fun to drive. I find the cockpit very comfortable and the seats are great. My kids love it too. I have had the car for a couple of weeks now and am sure that we have a long, happy future together. Get a Fit! You'll love it.

  Most amazing car I have ever owned!!!!

  Pros: Actual Mielage 39-41MPG on the highway, 33.3 in the city. Plenty of space for me and im 6'4" room for my wife, and 2 car seats in the back with enough space in the cargo area for a full 2 weeks grocery shopping and a stroller. Amazing freakin' Car!

  Cons: Wish it came standard with a center storage armrest, floor mats, and 4 wheel disc brakes.

  Summary: Basically this car is everything my wife and I hoped it would be. We downsized from a 5.4L V8 F150 to the fit to save money in todays tough economic times and boy have we saved money. Even with gas at 2.50 it only costs us about $18 to fill the tank!!!! Insurance is cheap and Honda maintenance is always inexpensive due to the plethora of aftermarket parts out there. If you are looking for a small car with LOTS of room that is easy on the wallet, get out and get a fit! FIT IS GO!

  Great car overall, a few design issues, easy to fix.

  Pros: Great fuel economy 30-32 mixed, 37-45 highway depending on terrain and speed)
  cargo space of a larger car, versatile interior, peppy at city speeds, easy parking, good features for price. Paddle shifters and firm suspension for backroads fun.

  Cons: Front legroom is limited, awkward center armrest, hard door armrests, seat fabric is difficult to keep clean, high road noise, seat cushions uncomfortable (spongy, unsupportive, can feel frame through foam)

  Summary: It has its downsides, but in a year of ownership I've corrected most of those. The front legroom is limited, but that is something that won't affect 95+% of drivers. The seating position is taller than a typical small car, so it doesn't have that "stretch your legs" feel of a Civic, but rather a more chairlike position. The center armrest is a foam-covered lever mounted to the driver's seat, but Honda offers a console armrest, as well as the aftermarket. I made small cushions for the door armrests, and added aftermarket leather seat-covers, which improved both the ease of keeping the seats clean as well as providing extra padding and a firmer surface. I'm long legged and lanky, so I tend to have my knees raised higher in cars, putting more pressure on my sitting bones.
  Small comfort issues that I've corrected (and are subjective to me) are more than outweighed by he benefits. I expect this car to last for at least a decade of daily use with minimal mechanical issues. It is very easy on fuel, has plenty of cargo space the rear seat-bottoms flip up like movie theater seats - I can put my mountain bike across the rear seat with the front wheel removed. There is enough space for four adults, though not for hours on end. My Clazzio seat covers make the front seats incredibly comfortable.
  The car measures about 160 inches bumper to bumper, about the same as a classic Volkswagen Beetle. It is easy to park in tiny spaces, and at less than 67 inches wide, can squeeze through narrow gaps. The engine provides decent acceleration around town, though it is only adequate on the highway.
  
  The suspension is firm, and the steering sharp - while the car isn't fast, it makes up for it by being entertaining. Mountain roads are a treat, with sharp reflexes and a manually shiftable automatic with wheel-mounted paddles. After playing the "drive it a few years and trade it" game, I want a good, reliable, cheap to operate car that is still enjoyable to drive and offers high utility. A few minor (and easily correctable) annoyances aside, this car seemed to be the best option to meet these requirements.

  Great car for the money

  Pros: Great handling and very comfortable car even on long trips. The magic seats are incredible, I routinely fit snowblowers, lawnmowers, furniture and gym equipment with no problems. This car will also leave plenty of room in your garage.

  Cons: Engine power, but how much horsepower do you need when you are either stuck in traffic or driving on a street with a 60Km/r limit???

  good fuel efficiency, fun, but then it catches fire!

  Pros: We really enjoyed our Honda Fit, for over 2 years: the versatile interior, great sight lines, good fuel efficiency We didn't even worry too much when they issued a recall related to a potential fire hazard...

  Cons: Less than 2 weeks after being serviced to remediate the fire hazard... the thing spontaneously caught fire while sitting parked! Since then Honda has been of no help at all!

  Summary: I used to love Honda, until my 2007 Honda Fit spontaneously combusted while sitting parked in a garage on May 12, 2010. I'm still waiting for *someone* from Honda to step up & take ownership of this problem -- whether the Sloane Honda Dealer in Philadelphia we bought it from, the Shadyside Honda Service Center in Pittsburgh that had "fixed" the fire recall problem 10 days earlier, or from the Honda corporate office. This sure isn't the reliability or customer service that I expected in buying a NEW car from them not even 3 years ago. Since when does "3 year warranty" translate as "Talk to your insurance."   Wrong! I have a factory bluetooth link on mine!

  Pros: Too bad CNET doesn't know what they are talking about. All they could complain about is "the complete lack of bluetooth support". Unfortunately for them, Bluetooth is a clearly available factory option for the 2010 Fit, and I have it on my car.

  Cons: A 6th gear would have been nice - a little high revs on the freeway.

  Horrible dealer refuse to repair,bad MPG,interior noise

  Pros: The 09 sport model looks sporty, interior is big.

  Cons: The car has loud and annoying interior wind noise. Transmission has rattling noise. The car's gas mileage is worse than advertised. I often get 24 mpg or less on surface street driving.

I went to the DCH Honda dealership in Gardena, CA for 4 times, but they refuse to repair it. They deny that there is a problem with the car. Also there is rattling noise from the transmission. But they refuse to fix this too. Very bad customer service. I had to waste a great deal of my time. The representative from the Honda company also will not help. These people will deny problems the vehicle has, and will not honor the vehicle's warranty.
  The car's gas mileage is worse than advertised. I often get 24 mpg or less on surface street driving. And I am very easy on the gas pedal.
