The good: Getting around 50 mpg on average, the 2010 Toyota Prius is a stellar car for fuel economy, and you can choose accelerator sensitivity. Traffic reports are integrated with the navigation system.
The bad: The Prius isn't designed for handling. There isn't full iPod or USB drive integration for the stereo. The DVD-based navigation system reacts slowly.
The bottom line: The 2010 Toyota Prius is a better car than its predecessor, although there are some areas, especially in the cabin, where we would have liked to see more improvement.

Summary: As soon as I got into the 2010 to test drive as did a friend of mine we both saw the danger........Because of the rib high position and width of the new, cool center console bridge it will pose a serious danger to bodily injury when car is hit on the driver side or even passenger side
Imagine an intrusive t-bone and then a hit from the front from another vehicle or into a wall, tree etc.........because of the new bridge design, you would be trapped and no way to move - at all. Imagine you had passengers or even kids in the back and you couldn't get to them because your trapped all around. You can't squeeze your self out to the right because the bridge is pushed up and into you as the instrument panel moved closer to your face.
