Summary: As soon as I got into the 2010 to test drive as did a friend of mine we both saw the danger........Because of the rib high position and width of the new, cool center console bridge it will pose a serious danger to bodily injury when car is hit on the driver side or even passenger side
Imagine an intrusive t-bone and then a hit from the front from another vehicle or into a wall, tree etc.........because of the new bridge design, you would be trapped and no way to move - at all. You can't squeeze your self out to the right because the bridge is pushed up and into you as the instrument panel moved closer to your face.
