The good: The 2012 Nissan Juke uses direct injection and a turbocharger to boost power in its small displacement engine and can be had with torque vectoring all-wheel drive. The continuously variable transmission works surprisingly well. D-Mode offers Normal, Sport, and Eco settings.
The bad: The stereo does not have a USB port or Bluetooth audio streaming, and the iPod interface is difficult to use.
The bottom line: The 2012 Nissan Juke is a fun little SUV with excellent performance tech, but it really drops the ball on cabin electronics.

Summary: We've been looking around for our next big purchase and wanted to check user reviews first before we actually march in a dealership and test drive it. Can anyone tell me how your mileage is on the Juke? I've read on some other SUVs that the mileage reported and the "actual" mileage are totally off. Is the space just as big as the PT cruiser?
Nissan Juke: Cross-Over CRESCENDO
by Achi11es on February 4, 2013
Pros: Intuitive controls that empower the driver.
Multiple connectivity options to charge or play music from your mobile.
Customizable driving experience with iCON controls.
Rich analytics available on the fly for driving style and fuel efficiency.
Cons: Back seat space is tight! Be aware family car buyers!
More of a Nissan issue: The navigation, while still good is no Google maps or Garmin. Doesn't display the speed limit which is the only gripe I have with the Nissan Navigation.

Summary: The Nissan Juke is an innovative vehicle that is easy to drive, and features simple, intuitive controls and comfortable drive quality, unique styling, and a very high safety rating that make this the king in the cross-over sector with a more than competitive price.proof reading is key.
Where other cross-over vehicles attempts innovation at removing a door or wheel cameras - Nissan took the time to design a car progressively for the driver.
The Juke's styling makes this vehicle stand out. Sporting the kind of curves normally reserved for an aesthetically pleasing woman the eye catching design makes this a sexy car.
Climbing into the car is more akin to alighting the cockpit of a fighter jet; you sit into the sport seats that hug you comfortably and securely.
You are presented with 2 interfaces in the Juke: normal automotive meters for engine temperature and gas level, odometer and trip computer - but you also get options to monitor tire use, miles available per tank, and a second trip computer.
The iCON system is above motorcycle inspired center console where you are able to switch between climate and drive modes at the touch of a button - and Nissan designed the car to reuse the available buttons where climate controls switch to driving controls - you can switch from fuel saving ECO mode, then Normal mode, and finally Sport mode for those fast and fun driving situations (please be safe!) and you can feel the steering tighten up and the steering wheel remains as responsive as ever.
Also in the iCON you are able to set up monitors to deliver information on how you are driving your car and fuel efficiency that can help you answer the questions of how best to drive your car for your own style - further empowering you to make the best decisions on the road. You want to drive fast but save gas? The answers are here without needing an engineering degree or hacking the matrix as it were to get that info,
Connectivity in the Juke covers all of the bases: You get a USB 2.0 port, a 1/4 inch jack, and the car lighter. A virtually infinite amount of combinations to charge your mobile phone, listen to music in its library, and charge another mobile device. Pair this with a USB hub or car mobile charger and you can easily charge 2 phones and listen to music from either without confusion.
The center console places the gear shift at a comfortable height, and you get 2 cup holders and a recessed tray to keep small items in. There are 2 additional bottle holders in the front doors and more space for your stuff as well. Be advised that a LARGE drink cup from most fast food outlets will not fit (but who needs that much soda anyway?) but mediums will without issue.
Above iCON is the radio or Nissan Navigation (depending on what you buy). The controls are standard for the radio and the touch screen display in the Navigation is a snap to use. You can store previous destinations, and even (for those tech saavy drivers like me) use the SD Card reader to ingest multiple addresses in CSV format to load up common destinations for those frequent drivers. The SD Card reader also allows picture viewing while not driving without hacking the system.
The Juke is spacious with the backseats folded down (60/40) but the back seating is tight when the seats are up. A family of four can have this as a daily driver without issue - but more than that or larger physically sized families will notice space issues.
Drive quality is amazing! This is not a car for the faint of heart. This speedy, nimble vehicle will have you carving through traffic or lazing through back roads at your leisure. The fuel efficiency is great - depending on how you drive it. Don't expect top numbers while driving in Sport mode with the moon roof open, air con running and music blasting - but you can meet or exceed those numbers depending on your geographical area and making use of Eco and Normal modes (with some Sport thrown in for fun).
The sexy, curvaceous beauty of the Nissan Juke marries progressive styling, intelligent user empowering control design, and a powerful super charged engine (the 4 cylinder DIG engine) that puts efficient power and eye grabbing looks at your fingertips.
I highly enjoy my Nissan Juke (I have the top of the line 2012 version) and you will more than love yours (like me). The smaller footprint allows parking anywhere, and I feel super charged every time I get behind the wheel. This car fuels the fun of a sports car into the common sense of a daily driver - with all of the options in that expanse that culminates in the crescendo of the most awesome car on the road today. Don't believe me? Go test drive one. Then you will see. :)

Fun car to drive!

Summary: Bought the 2012 SL with leather seats, map, etc. This is a well thought-out package. The car is a perfect fit for me as I don't need to carry more then myself and one other. You can select different drive modes. I noticed when I first got it I put it in Sport mode alot and the gas mileage went down (but the fun went up!!) I commute 18 minutes on the hwy and in Normal mode and 68MPH I get 31MPG. It is so easy to park as well.
Great car - responsive and fun to drive!
by plknj on July 14, 2012
Pros: Really responsive, great pickup in the sports mode. Not huge but you are still up there as it is an SUV. All wheel drive options. Comfortable seating and ride.
Cons: Gas milage!!! I would have given the car 5 stars if not for this. We average about 21.4 mpg far under the 27 promised. The car should have blue tooth for the iPod!

Summary: This is a love it or leave it car. We have had ours for over a year and love it. Fun and fast and it gets the looks. It is easy to do 80 or 90 in the car and is very comfortable for long trips. Again, the only bad thing is the gas milage.
