Cons: weight, it's thing as a tft, still have to deal with the electron explosion ==> radiations. Please invent a CRT with no radiation...

Pros: I had an IBM P72 (17 inch) for 3 years and it was a really good monitor. Then I saw this huge animal and I love every minute I've spent working ever since. This is a really flat screen, sharp and steady screen. No flickering, brilliant.
Cons: I'm a big guy, but is this thing heavy to carry. But worth the investment.

Everything is excellent except for one very small item . . . it does require an adapter to connect to the VGA port, but IBM includes it with the monitor. My only concern is that I might not be able to get a replacement. Love it so much I had to get a second one!!

Summary: Excellent Sony Flat screen Trinitron tube. Easily one of the clearest, brightest, most detailed pictures you can get on the market today. 2 types of input DVI and Standard 15 pin VGA. Sony makes the best flat screens on the market hands down -- IBM made a wise choice to use their tube. The one down side is the price -- just over $1,000. But it does come in black and standard beige.

Summary: Got a great deal on this monitor. Love that 21"" Triniton goodness. Image is just as good as the Sony G500's that my old boss had. Just can't get to super high resolutions, but I don't really need to anyway. Only bad thing is that it doesn't have usb ports.

Summary: The screen size is vast, but the space it takes up is equally so. Make sure you have at least 1m cubed, to store this monitor. Whether you want a monitor for games / multimedia / graphics design, or just word processing, this certainly fits the bill. Even though it is very expensive, i would expect to get at least 10 years use out of this monitor, something you can't say for any other part of the computer!
