Provides extreme multimedia and multitasking support you won't find in anything near the price in a pre-configured system. Provides useful gaming experience with reasonable FIPS rates for the intermediate gamer - if you want true SLI for more serious gaming, call HP for an extra 8500 GT, they'll send it out to you for a tiny price with instructions how to open the case and pop it in and connect the two. To enjoy it fully, make certain to buy a good high res HP monitor.

Purchased this item less than 2 months ago and have been having DVD drive problems ever since. Unable to return it and HP customer service has been no help. After reseaching this issue, I've found that many others have been having the same problem. Have no choice but to send it back to the company. There are some HP laptops having the same problem. My suggestion is do not buy HP until this issue is resolved.
