(1) Using this PC's Firewire (1394) port, you can connect to many digital camcorders and other equipment and rapidly upload data to the computer's hard drive.(2) If you plan to be playing the latest 3-D games, you may want to invest in a more powerful video card from NVidia or ATI, which are popular with the gaming community (requires an open AGP or PCIe slot).

We set this puppy up today. Our other media center went bye-bye last night. Got this one at BestBuy and spent 949$ on it. This system is powerful. Probably more powerful than an internet surfer and document typing person might need, but video building, graphics and movie watching are just amazingly excellent on this box. Its quiet, and with the quadcore, it doesn't heat up like the old Pentium 4's did. Energy star compliant power management is excellent as well. I can't say enough good things about this we are extremely pleased.
