The good: The Contour+2 captures crisp, HD video. The new Instant On-Record slider greatly increases simplicity. Bluetooth allows app connectivity, GPS allows location data to be embedded in video, and the waterproof case is now included.
The bad: Even with the new lower price, the Contour+2 is more expensive than the GoPro HD Hero2.
The bottom line: The Contour+2 combines the best features of the entire Contour camera line in one simple, powerful flagship model.
Pros: 1) Design design design: Record switch, rotating lens, laser alignment, and sleek metal body, all feel super intuitive and well thought out. 2) iPhone viewfinder/remote control app: Works flawlessly and instantly. 3) Picture: Sharpest image ever
Cons: No 120FPS at 720p or 60FPS at 1080

Summary: After owning and testing several different helmet cameras (Contour, GoPro, Drift) this one will definitely be my bread-and-butter. The 1080 and 720 image is incredibly clear and sharp even at 60FPS, sound is much improved with less wind-noise (there still is some but it's WAY better then the rest on the market), and design just feels right. The instant on record switch is perfect and the little lock (so you don't accidentally turn it on in your pocket) is a very welcome addition. Compared to other cameras the Contour feels balanced and unobtrusive on your helmet, and though it makes me sound a little vain, it also LOOKS cool on the helmet. Shouldn't be important to me but my GoPro made me look dorky. I also love the rotating lens because with all the mounting options you can put your camera anywhere and any and every angle you'd want to film. Speaking of mounting, the Flex-strap mount is my favorite because its so versatile. The other mounts are solid as well and they have one for everything. Even more then GoPro. I also like that the camera can be used without a waterproof case. Who needs that extra weight when you're mountain biking or snowboarding?
The best feature by far though is the iPhone app. It just works exactly how you'd want it to. Today I tested at over 30feet away and it still was connected and allowed me to instantly (seriously instantly, no lag at all) change settings and start/stop recording. And it's bluetooth, not wifi, which means it'll work where wifi isn't, say for example: on top of a mountain or in a forest. Or on the lake or ocean.
