Tough little camera.

Pros: Video and still image quality are quite good, as is the durability and form factor. Not having to purchase additional accessories is a nice touch.
Cons: Set up and WiFi are a real struggle, actually I can't get it to work at all, so not really a struggle. I have moved past that flaw and focus on what it can do. Having to open the SD/ Batter compartment to access the connections for cables dumb

Summary: I did what you are doing and read as many reviews as I could when making the decision on what action cam to purchase. I am happy with the unit and am hopeful some new software will be coming to correct most of the cons. Having to open the card/ battery door to connect cables really is a serious design flaw. I can't imagine the testers of this approved this. I understand for the unit to perform in all sorts of outdoor environments the few openings the better, but seriously/ How long will this little door last int he real world if is has to be opened and closed multiple times each day the unit is used. Keep working JVC, your getting close.

Absolutely delivers the expectations!

Pros: Works out of the box. Simple to operate, easy to attach, stable picture.
Sharp image.
Cons: Sound - when wind is blowing, you wouldn't hear a thing but noise.
Wi-FI on Android - straight forward. Have no idea how to connect from out of the LAN. no help, no forum...
