The good: It has 1080p and 720p video; 2.5-inch swiveling LCD; one-touch video uploading to YouTube, MySpace, and Facebook; removable lithium ion rechargeable battery; HDMI output; compatible with both OS X and Windows machines; dual memory Stick Duo and SD card slot; 5x optical zoom; capable of focusing on objects close up.
The bad: Relatively large; no HDMI cable included for HD output to HDTVs; no bundled carrying case; Picture Motion Browser Portable software is underwhelming and won't work on some operating systems.
The bottom line: The Bloggie CM5 isn't as compact as competing models from Flip Video and Kodak, but it delivers an above-average feature set and video for the money.

Great Image Quality but needs Better Battery
by juantamad96 on September 5, 2010
Pros: Simple, Great Image quality, Optical Zoom, Extremely Portable, Picks up Audio Easily, HDMI, AV, Pro Duo and SD, Sturdy, Flip Screen, 1080p, 720p 60fps, Takes Photos
Cons: No Charger, Flimsy USB, No HDMI Cable included, Shaky Quality in 1080p, Looses Charge Quickly
Summary: This is a great camera, and the best for its range. Makes the Flips and Kodaks seem outdated. Great Quality and zooms in quite well for size. The camera is ...
Summary: This is a great camera, and the best for its range. Makes the Flips and Kodaks seem outdated. Great Quality and zooms in quite well for size. The camera is very portable. Quick and Simple to use. When I want to film something quickly I don't have to wait for it to load or press a button. It has good low light filming. Very Natural Colors. Its Excellent when filming outside. 720p 60fps works well when capturing Hi Speed. Captures faces very well. Face detector is not racist..lol! User friendly. Quick and Simple. Needs better battery and separate charger.

Good but with reservations...
by stuartd99 on July 12, 2010
Pros: Quick startup, good image quality, good audio pickup, easy to use.
Cons: Image stabilization only works at 720/30...zoomed image beyond 2x and higher quality video (including full HD) shooting requires a tripod. Low-light capability not terribly good. USB socket is extremely flimsy.
Summary: Good value, but it's essentially a cheapie so don't expect too much. If full HD image quality and low-light shooting is what you're after, spend the extra ...

It is now sept 21, 2001. I was told I had to wait until they get another order for delivery in my
semi rural area.
I started calling on the 15th to see about setting up a time and date. the customer service number
I found on the net sent me to another department which sent me to another place then they
transferred me to the right place finally. The guy who answered told me it hadn't even arrived
there yet. I waited a few days and called again to be told that it had arrived at their destination,
but I had to wait until they had other business in my area.
I called amazon the lady called ceva and they told her it will get there when it gets there. Then I
emailed them www.erc@amazon.com, a lady called gave me 30 bucks credit. Asked me to be
patient for 2 more day. Today is the second day she asked me to wait no phone calls today, no tv,
and no more laughing. I payed a lot of money for this tv and I want it I am starting to worry did
they damage it and are trying to get it fixed, who knows right. If you can asked them (amazon) if
they will provide a 50% refund if you have to waits 15 days after the delivery.
I will no ever EVER deal with Ceva Logistics again.!!!!!

www.erc@amazon.com is the people in charge of delivery. plus
1-866-423-5355 is the number for large item delivery service.
