The good: Rotating lens; 1080p, 720p, VGA video options; one-touch video uploading to YouTube, MySpace, and Facebook; removable lithium ion rechargeable battery.
The bad: No Mac support for Picture Motion Browser software; no HDMI output; mono mic and no input for an external mic.
The bottom line: Sony gains ground against the minicamcorder competition with the Bloggie MHS-PM5, but its software and overall video quality keep it from moving ahead.

Excellent camera for the price. $150 range.

Pros: 1080p video, supports SD card, replaceable and rechargeable battery, Large viewing screen, take still photos, excellent quality.
Cons: None, no charging problems here. I have charged it with my laptop, my pc, and I have also used my Droid charger. The Droid charger charges it faster and doesnt seem to hurt the battery. Even if it did, I would buy another one and do the same thing.

Summary: My 4 star rating is a comparison to cameras of equal cost. I couldn't give it a five because it is not the best camera out there. I give it 4 because it is as good as the best camera out there. I use it on linux and windows both and have no problems. I dont use the included software so I can't give an opinion on it. Be aware it only does 29 minutes continuous per recording. The battery isnt dead or anything. You just have to start recording again. This camera is for a quick video here and there. Not a problem for me. Camera is an excellent choice!

Support sucks Product doesn't work!

Pros: will not charge the batteries after trying 2 different puters and 4 different USB ports and 2 different batteries. It's totally busted! Called Sony they want me to pay shipping to see if their piece of junk actually works. Great customer service NOT.
Cons: NOTHING Good
