Summary: It is a very good camera for people who are wanting to take good photos, but don't have a lot of space to carry the camera. It is very easy to use, and one of my main reasons for buying it, was the fully manual mode. I thought only cameras like the EOS had manual focus, until I found this. It has been great camera, and I recomend it to people looking for a cheap, but decent camera.

Summary: I'm always one to grade on a curve if you will - grading relative to a products price, and what I perceive as it's comparable competition. This camera gets my vote for doing so many of the basic things so totally satisfactory, while still coming in at a price (2/9/11) between $179 & $199. I also have a Panasonic DMC TZ5 that I am just as happy with in the image quality area's, but it does't have the great zoom, plus the price was higher at the time of purchase.
