I received this camera as a replecement for the R507 , after 4 replacement attempts from HP

Pros: Image is not bad for the price but very slow and limited features
Cons: No features , battery life too short 36 pics on first use before the camera shuts down

Summary: I wouldnt buy this camera , and if I knew about it's lack of features and bad battery life I wouldnt have agreed to accept it as a replacement for the R507 not worth the price, I prefer the Photosmart 320 at 2.1 mp it performed faster , this camera is unusually slow to focus and take a shot compared to the R507 and 320 , it seriously lags in performance , but the images are crisp .
The macro function is a joke and I wonder why they bothered with it at all .
I took 36 pictures before the camera shut itself off , and this in sunlit conditions with minimal use of the LCD's live view
Charge time for 2 batteries is riddiculous at 12- 15 hours , but what do you expect for the price !
I dont recommend this camera to anyone .3 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.

Pros: Once you buy a memory card, you get alot of pics with the best megapixels, and a little bit of video time.
Cons: The LCD display is a bit small, the pics aren't the clearest.

Summary: I am currently renting this camera from a place, and honestly, if I had the money - I would ditch this junk and pay for a good digicam. The pics are OK, but only if you take them semi far away from the object. I enjoy taking pics of my kids and outdoors, and this just doesn't cut it. I guess I could say its good for the price, but I honestly would not recommend it for a regular use good digital photography camera. If you can find a higher megapixel, better brand camera for a little more expensive, I recommend investing in it. I give this camera a 3 - just because.

Pros: Good photos, Rechargeable batteries, AC adapter
Cons: Doesn't take my AA Pure Energy Alkanines (Wonder why)
Summary: I bought that camera for ~ 150$ USD, brand new in a store and I think I couldn't get a better camera for the price.

Cons: small video resolution and no speaker
