Exceeded my expectations

Summary: Just picked this up at Target for $89 on black friday. This is a very basic point & shoot. I can't attest to battery life yet, but the on-camera panoramic scene stitcher blew me away. I have seen this feature before, but not implemented this well.

A Handy Second (or Third) Camera To have Around

Pros: Small size, virtually idiot-proof to get a decent photo and decent battery life.

Summary: Overall, its a great little camera for those times when you're on the go and don't want to lug your digital SLR with you. It's easy to use (so you don't have lecture the bellhop for 20 minutes if you want him to snap your picture) and takes acceptable photos for sharing on the web. For a camera that advertises 8.2 megapixels, it really doesn't deliver high quality images. When you view anything at full resolution its very pixelated and often slighly out of focus. If you're looking for a camera to use for snapping pictures and printing them out poster size, you're going to want to skip past this one. On the other hand, if you just want something small to snap a few photos here and then to post online, this camera, with its ability to shoot decent quality video with sound, will probably meet your needs.
Really, the old adage rings true - you get what you pay for. This camera is priced below most other ultracompact point-and-shoot cameras and as a result, you get a camera that takes photos at a quality below what most others are capable of. I use mine frequently, especially in cases where I don't want to risk damage to my other, more expensive, digital cameras. Summary: It's a great looking camera, relatively inexpensive. The images are clean, and you get various options for different uses. Easy to use, I've been very pleased with it. The one thing I dislike is that I accidentally dropped the camera and now my images come out with red and blue lines on them which I am unable to get rid of. I've only had the camera for about 6 months! Unfortunately this is not covered by the warranty and I read that it will cost me more than what the camera is worth to fix it. Other than that, it's a great camera!
