The good: The Nikon Coolpix L810 is an inexpensive 26x megazoom point-and-shoot that's easy to use and runs on AA batteries.
The bad: The L810 performs poorly in low light and indoors without a flash, and its shooting performance is slow, as is its autofocus.
The bottom line: The Nikon Coolpix L810 offers a lot of specs at a low price. If you need fast shooting performance, though, you'll need to spend more money.

Overall a big disappointment

Pros: The camera is lightweight and easy to use.. It has a fair response time between pictures for a point and shoot camera.. Also it has a 26x zoom and runs on AA batteries which I like
Cons: This camera takes bad pictures.. There is no manual focus and the auto focus is slow and random and not at all sharp.. Also even in good light all the photos were incredibly soft..

Many options for point and click camera but...

Pros: Amazing zoom capabilities
Not very heavy
Good video capabilities (as long as the focus works)
Good picture quality in sunlight
Operates on standard AA batteriesCons: Poor picture quality in lower light conditions
Lag time between picts bad
Autofocus slow/not working at all
Video limited to 30 minutes
Slow SD card (Class 10) takes way too long
No RAW mode

Summary: The L120 was a much better product at a lower price. The only difference is the zoom and resolution - both do not make a difference in real life though. I sold mine after 4 months of use and will either try different manufacturer or use my wife's Nikon DSLR... if it only was less bulky.

Save your money if you need a camera with speed.

Pros: Easy to set-up and use.
Cons: Slow response time. Camera readiness between frames were slow. Also, slow readinesss between video and still shots for my purposes.

Pros: light weight, easy to operate, Cnet's review is on point.
Cons: slow shooting, slow flash, no cover for the back LCD screen, use a lot of battery power since there is no view finder that comes with this camera.

I am partial to Canon cameras, I use a larger Canon for the "real" shots but so far this is not that bad since I just purchased it last Friday. Best Buy had it on sale for a great price.
