Amazing camera for the price! Takes perfect pictures!

Pros: Takes clear, crisp pictures, easy to use, great touchscreen, lots of cool features, feels solid, has great design, has amazing zoom capability, really nice video mode for compact camera.

Summary: I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about this camera! I was looking for a camera under $200 that took really nice pictures and was immediately impressed with this one. My last digital camera was really hard to use since I had to adjust the settings so much for it to take a decent picture. This camera is exactly the opposite. It takes perfectly clear pictures just on the auto setting and I've had multiple people comment on what great pictures it takes. It also has tons of different settings for different environments and lots of neat features. You can edit the pictures right on the camera, set up a softening effect, use frames, do slide shows and the list goes on. The touchscreen is really impressive and super convenient. It takes great action shots as well as night pictures. I was at a big concert where it was dark and I was far away from the stage. The camera took great pictures despite the unfavorable conditions. The picture was clear even at extreme zoom. The video mode is also great and has better-than-average sound capabilities. The camera feels solid and sturdy but has a nice design. I highly recommend this camera to anyone who wants an amazing camera for a great price!

The video is something to be admired by the 720p record and playback which is still very crisp for its resolution. The 16 mp shots come out gleaming with professional quality that rivals that of shots from comparable cameras. The full immersion touch screen works great and really fills in the product's full package. Whether you are looking for a beginner camera or one that stands a little ahead of the competition the s6100 has it. A staggering 20 different scene selections help you find that perfect shot. It is recommended to read the manual to enjoy all of the features of this wonderful little camera.

Disappointing purchase.

Pros: Decent pictures.
Cons: not reliable.Broke down after 3 months of sporadic use (lens wouldn't open ).Warranty denied due to internal rust most likely as a result of moisture condensation.The camera was never exposed to abnormal conditions.There are posts on the web that describe

Pros: bought brand new and are sending a new one after terrible beginning. The two pictures that did turn out looked beautiful. I will update after i receive new one
