Broke after 3 months
by EY_Pep on August 31, 2012
Pros: Great at first
Cons: Too long to turn on.
Automatic settings are not that great.
Broke after 3 months of use, just regular use, just started to turn off every time I turned it on.Summary: Save your money on this one and buy another camera.

Broke after 6 months.
by CarlyTD on November 25, 2011
Pros: Panoramic mode worked nicely. Taking underwater pictures is fun but I think it shortens the life of the camera.
Cons: It broke after 6 months. Low light/nightime pics are so-so

Durable Camera
by mnmiss on November 12, 2010
Pros: Very durable, can handle use by our kids and by my husband. We have had the camera for almost 2 years, we have taken it in the Gulf of Mexico several times, and to the Pacific and Atlanitc oceans. We have gotten amazing videos and pictures
Cons: The zoom is fairly weak- not great for far distance pictures.
Summary: I love the camera and will plan on purchasing again.

Do not recommend
by Tremoleta on October 17, 2010
Pros: Couldn't get one to last long enough to evaluate the Pros
Cons: Not reliable at all. Never tested the durability and toughness, but I can't imagine they would be very good because I had 2 break within the first week of owning with very little use.
Summary: This camera was absolutely horrible. The picture quality was not very good, what few pictures I was able to take. I received my first of these cameras as a birthday ...
Summary: This camera was absolutely horrible. The picture quality was not very good, what few pictures I was able to take. I received my first of these cameras as a birthday present, and the cover over the lens failed within 1 week of very easy minor use. Never dropped, submerged, or used in any type of rough environment. Took about 60 pictures over the course of 3 uses, all but a few indoors. The lens cover failed to open, which searching found to be a common known issue. Returned the camera for an exact replacement, used once, then within a week the camera failed to turn on. Battery had a full charge, but camera would not even turn on when in sync with a computer.
If you purchase, I hope you have more luck than I did. I took the second back and will be purchasing a different camera.
