Good zoom, good optics, good price, but slow

Pros: Zoom is great, second only to a camcorder in most cases. Pictures are sharp and clear if you use a flash.
Cons: Not so great in low-light conditions. It seems to confuse the camera, which then slows the shutter speed and if your heart beats at all it makes even a still life image blurry.
Summary: Not a bad camera overall, especially since it has come down so much in price lately. I only paid $179 for it, so I really cannot complain. That being said... ...

Summary: Not a bad camera overall, especially since it has come down so much in price lately. I only paid $179 for it, so I really cannot complain. That being said... It's SLOW... which is why I wanted a new camera in the first place. My nine-year-old C-5050 zoom which I bought on John Dvorak's recommendation was great... then... but SOOO slow now compared to what is available. The SZ-10 at least boots up fast so I may miss fewer shots... and it's relatively small, though not what I would call pocket-sized.
Two complaints...
1) Olympus cameras are SLOW! WTH is wrong with that company? They used to OWN the digital camera market and they make some amazing cameras... really... but they are so slow that you will miss half of the shots you try to take. They do have a good price-point and if you're taking photos on a tripod just to post on eBay you'll be fine.
2) This camera has been out for a year now and cnet has yet to do a review on it. I count on cnet to tell me what they think of current products, not what they think of products over a year old. In the world of technology a year is equal to five or ten in any other industry. When it comes to slow, cnet is even slower than Olympus.
