The good: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W570 is simple to use with reliable auto shooting and decent low-light photos in a very small body.
The bad: The W570's shooting performance--especially shot to shot--is slow, and the lens has some edge and corner softness.

30 days camera is malfunctioning
by dfurlano on August 18, 2011
Pros: Not very much.
Cons: Slow (need to hold the release for several seconds)
Blurry (constantly focuses and re-focuses)
Very confusing menus (hard to turn on and off menu items)

Summary: Poor quality. Had it exactly 31 days and lens locks up intermittently. Took it back to Best Buy and they said Sony would return the camera without any repair if it did not malfunction right away. So basically it won't get fixed until it totally dies. Went to a concert and the camera locked up. Next day it worked fine. Total boat anchor. Also they will charge you for shipping both ways if it does not malfunction.

my first digital still camera
by julz2you on February 16, 2011
Pros: the price is just so right with the features of the camera. the images i took are clear and they stay the same resolution when i transferred them to my laptop. the video quality is also good.
Cons: some of the texts in the settings (especially in the lower part) are a bit moving, so i probably need to have it checked at the store. i didn't see a setting for a moving object also, so most of the moving pictures i took are not that good.
Summary: my camera is still 2 days old, and im happy with it. i will recommend this to people who wants this kind of camera at a reasonable price. i love ...
Summary: my camera is still 2 days old, and im happy with it. i will recommend this to people who wants this kind of camera at a reasonable price. i love photography, but i cannot afford to buy a DSLR yet, so i really searched on the net for a digital camera that is out of the ordinary digital cameras. i also love the color, it's pale pink. and the buttons are not bulky.

sory for the misspellings
If dslr shots are yur desire then you can get them here if the shots are still and exposure is correct. but if you want more consistent fast shots you will need a different camera. Its a must have camera if you can't afford a dslar.

Pros: None discovered so far.
Cons: User documentation is much worse that average for consumer electronics. Having spent four hours with the camera and with the manual still can not do anything with it -- produces for example on screen indicators that are not described etc. etc. Switches /
