  ADA Compliant Dishwasher is Tiny Inside

  Pros: Looks good, works well, energy efficient if you don't count the fact you will do many more loads due to its small capacity.

  Cons: Tiny inside. Although energy efficient, seems like you can only load half of the dishes compared to a standard dishwasher.

  Summary: We had to purchase an "ADA Compliant" dishwasher because our cabinet clearance was 1/2 inch smaller than the standard. We did not realize this not only meant the height of the dishwasher was lower but also the depth was substantially less. Unfortunately due to space limitations, we are stuck having to buy something of this size, but it is a real challenge to fit a meal's worth of dishes into it. I have learned to treat it like a jigsaw puzzle and turn it into a challenge rather than being frustrated by it. I don't know of any other dishwasher that would fit (we require a 33.5 inch height rather than 34 inch), so it is unlikely another brand would have been better. (If anyone knows of one, please post!) Otherwise it is a good dishwasher. Very quiet, and cleans dishes very well even in hard water without needing rinse agent.
