Summary: Transformers: decepticons would have to be one of my favourite DS games (ive got 17).
Starting the game with the deafult file mattio, i found the tutorial rather dull (but i guess thats normal). The idea of the free roam map with missions dotted through works well for this game. The robot and vehicle interfaces work well but the "combat mode" is very twitchy, constantly flicking all over the place. Plane form is OK whilst helicopter form would have to be my fav.
The sound quality in this game is pretty darn good, but in most boss fights (Street Brawl in particular) the dialogue gets VERY repeditive.
Graphics wise, the game is spectacular for ds standards, however sometimes the graphics fail to load properly, resulting in invisible buildings and enemys (now thats annoying!)
Now, if i wrote a review without mentioning the glitches i would be MAD. Not so much in most levels, but tranquility is a disaster zone (something to do with the size of the map) In tranquility alone i have been able to go inside mountains, teleport, fly in car form and toatally dissapear. Sometimes these glitches can be good or fun to find (or both ) but gennerally they are annoying.
