"Good for TV shows, not movies"
Pros: Love the ability to use different formats. The built in capture feature for copying VHS tapes or my old laserdisc player is nice.
Cons: Would liked to have seen a simple pause control instead of saving a chapter everytime you stop capturing. Takes too long to capture and burn a disc. More detailed manual is needed to explain all errors.

"Very Good it works for me!!!!!"
Pros: I bought iomega dvd burner Because i like the different formats. I haven't had any problems at all. If you have dvd shrink program it works very well.
Cons: Some burners when it is writing the light is red/orange but this blinks green only,it looks like it is not burning.

"Excellent value and works with many software packages"
Pros: Good bundled software Easy setup Works with all formats DVDs play in Xbox
Cons: A little slow Is not compatible with Windows Movie Maker but who cares

Pros: CNET has their products mixed up I am reviewing the USB version. Unplug it and take it with you. LOVE the DVD-RAM compatibility for more reliable data backups.
Cons: Is this writer slow because it's usb or are they all this freaking slow? Software is as simple as it gets and instructions are almost non-existant. There's a pair of rca type plugs on the back of mine that are completely undocumented... guys are they in
