Pros: Great DVD Burner. Use it with DVD X Copy Xpress. Had no errors with media. Works best with Memorex 4x rated DVD+R. I know I am repeating what every body has said on this site but you bought a DVD burner not software.
Cons: When I first installed the drive, it created 3 coasters. But after those three it has burned reliably.

Pros: great features, multiple formats
Cons: Terrible reliability. This drive doesn't work on me after burning about 10 DVDs. I'll probably spend a bit more on my next try out and buy a Sony or Plextor.

Pros: Nero 5 bundle does not work well. I highly recommend buy CopytoDVD($39)at www.copydvdpro.com over DVD-X-COPY Express. Trust me !, if you just want to copy DVD movie only. It will not burn DVD for your camcord project. Good buy for your money. I pay for $1
Cons: If you buy DVD-X-Copy Express, need to have Win XP with SP-1, disable Norton Anti Virus, and InCD from Nero 5.

"Solid, reliable, versatile drive - excellent value, too"
Pros: Well-built item, easy to install. Has efficiently burned all [cheap & not-so-cheap] media I've tried so far.
Cons: The bundled B's s/ware is basic, but compatible with the drive. A little research before buying should prove this.

"Don't Buy Smart Buy Media for Use with this Drive"
Pros: This is an excellent burner. You don't get lots of software with the OEM version, but works easy with nero or others.
Cons: I want to warn everyone that Smart Buys dvds do not work with this drive. I have had no probelm with any media other than smart busy (every other one I have only lost 1-2 DVDs out of a spindle of 50). I want to warn everyone not to buy Smart Buy brand D
