finicky gimmick - anger-inducing frustration generator

Pros: idea sounds appealing, elitist. small desktop footprint
Cons: Burns ink like gasoline, has to be babysat, poor robotics to software integration, super expensive

If you want to duplicate discs and have them printed on, it sure sounds great to have a machine do it for ya.
However, after every disk, a window pops up "Select Template you wish to use with the CD/DVD label." If you fail to click it, the cycle stops and you get an "Internal software error" message. Get this - it has only one option! So I was unable to leave my desk and let it run. On the contrary, this machine ties up not only a computer, but an employee at the same time. This sort of defeats the purpose of having a robot do the work for you when you have to interact with it on each unit. I think people who word of mouth recommend this duplicator are of the "misery loves company" school of elitism. They paid too much for this, and they are professionals, so they want other professionals to make the same mistake - maybe even to stymie the competition. Well, no more! I am a professional, and I've made a mistake in purchasing this equipment. It's not the first mistake I've made on the job, nor will it be the last. But rest assured, I will not make the mistake of purchasing this duplicator ever again.

Bravo II is the easiest to use and most advanced CD/DVD publishing system ever. With its built-in burn and print capabilities, it produces up to 50 discs at a time. Best of all, the entire process is automatic. Simply specify the files you wish to burn and print, select how many discs you'd like, and press "Go!" from your Windows PC or Mac. For DVD±Rs, choose the Bravo II DVD Publisher. This model is dual-purpose. It produces both CD-Rs and DVD±Rs in the same drive. Bravo II incorporates the very latest, state-of-the-art recordable DVD drives. Bravo II incorporates stunning, full-color printing at up to 4800 dpi - the best in the industry. You'll be able to produce discs that look as professional as any you've ever seen using high-resolution text, graphics and even photos. Printing times are fast. It took just 54 seconds to print the disc shown here at 600 x 600 dpi resolution. With Bravo II, you'll also benefit from Primera's new patent-pending AccuDisc Technology. This suite of hardware and firmware enhancements provides the most accurate and precise disc picking available today. Utilizing advanced LED optics instead of mechanical components, AccuDisc eliminates misalignment of the picking mechanism. It also prevents the feeding of double discs into the recordable drive - a common problem with other picking systems. Bravo II produces not only standard 120mm discs, but also several of the popular business card shaped and mini CD/DVD formats. An optional media adapter kit is required. Bravo II can burn and print up to 50 discs per job with the included Kiosk Mode Kit. In Kiosk Mode, finished discs are dispensed out the center of the machine.
