The good: The Kindle Paperwhite boasts the best screen we've seen to date on an e-ink e-reader. The built-in light is great for nighttime reading, and the touch screen is a notch above the competition. Amazon's e-book selection remains best in class. Battery life is excellent so long as you turn Wi-Fi off.
The bad: It could be a tad lighter, an AC adapter isn't included (just a Micro-USB cable for charging), and there's no memory expansion slot. The ad-free version costs $20 more.
The bottom line: With an excellent built-in light and Amazon's best-in-class e-book selection, the Kindle Paperwhite rises to the top of the e-reader pack.

It's great. Extremely easy to read from.

Pros: Lightweight, perfect for carrying in most ladies purses and certainly easy for long distance travel reading. The ability to adjust the lighting is wonderful and easy. It's great....
Cons: No adapter for charging unless it is plugged into another USB port. Bomber!!

Not too shabby

Pros: Light weight and easy on the eyes. Easy to hold and navigate with one hand.
Cons: Texture of the screen is annoying. Flicker between page turns. Annoying looking icons.

Summary: It's probably the best reader for people that only want a device for reading. I have both an iPad 3 and iPad mini and prefer the iPad mini over the Kindle Paperwhite and the iPad 3. If I am going to buy a device I want to be able to do multiple things on it. I'm a User Experience designer so I realize that my review is a bit nit picky but I love the iBooks highlight experience because its fast and easy verses having to drag on the content and then tap "Highlight" on the Paperwhite. If I didn't have an iPad Mini this would probably be my device of choice for reading.

Pros: Easy on the eyes
Makes e-reading enjoyable
Easy to use, setup and access the Kindle store
Light weight enough to hold for long periods of reading time
Battery life is very long

The way text is displayed makes reading enjoyable. A lot better than reading from a computer screen that's for sure.
