The good: The LaCie 5big Thunderbolt is superfast and includes a Thunderbolt cable.
The bad: The 5big Thunderbolt supports just RAID 1 and RAID 0, connects solely via Thunderbolt, and, for now, only works with Macs.
The bottom line: Though it lacks RAID 5, the speedy 5big Thunderbolt is still worth the hefty investment, and is a better buy than competing devices.
