Summary: I'm pleased with the purchase. I've been using this drive for several months. It comes with a good choice of backup software for both Mac and PC, and with a full set of cables for each of the available interfaces. My d2 Quadra is mounted vertically with the help of a supplied stand. I think that this setup helps the drive to cool better and it takes up less space on my desk. The drive works great. I would recommend it to beginners or pros alike.

Summary: A while back, our office switched to using external desk drives - this d2 Quadra fitted the bill. The capacity is great, the transfer speed is fantastic and they work without any issues. We use them every day, they don't overheat and they work quietly too, which is a bonus for a small space. I'd recommend them for any small business, they are a high quality convenient unit.
