The good: Lowest cost-per-gigabyte drive in its class; aluminum case looks sexy and protects the drive; two-year warranty.
The bad: No FireWire port; average transfer speeds; short USB cable.
The bottom line: LaCie's Rikiki mobile USB hard drive is an elegant storage solution that comes in three sizes up to 640GB. Its simple design exudes timeless style in a very affordable package. As long as you're not a stickler for fast transfer speeds, the LaCie Rikiki will make a worthwhile addition to your mobile arsenal.

Faulty hardware.

Pros: none. not a one.
Cons: hardware from usb device breaks very easily, then you have to send the device into lacie, and in my case get a refurbished model of the same type, and then have that model break too.
honesty, the usb 3.0 connection is extremely fragile.
Summary: the service people at lacie are nice, but that's about all the good i can say about this product. please DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!!

Nice pocket metal drive

Pros: I just love the pocket size and the metal protection. Full featured software including 10GB online storage with Wuala. Really easy to setup.
Cons: The only con I can see is the length of the USB cable but I do not fill much concern as it is easy to plug on any laptop.

Pros: there is nothing good about a LaCie product
Cons: Lacie Products are horrible across the line. They fail early and customer service is slow and minimally responsive and will not even consider any data recovery for hardware issues.
Summary: Lacie Products FAIL prematurely. Plain and simple. If you want to loose your data the buy Lacie.
