Very poor. Had this drive only 3 months until it died.

Pros: Size and looks - looks aren't everything it's about what's inside.
Cons: Dodgy USB connector - disconnected at the slightest nudge of a desk.
Died after only 3 months after some serious whistling and rattling.
Summary: Very disappointed as I spent a lot of time researching best portable hard drives, particularly with CNET who rate this as 4 stars 'excellent' - not in my experience.
Poor.

connected today to get the message "reformat drive".

Pros: It was small and easily transported.
Cons: For 8 months it worked well, then started connecting and disconnecting randomly. Then today, I went to access files I purchased and stored on the drive for work.....I received the message "you need to reformat the drive." The files are gone!!!

Very good despite Minor Issues

Pros: Fast when working with a 2.0 USB (up to 1.5 GB/Min)
Portable and small
Travel Case Included
Has 3.0 Capability
Compatible For Both PC or MAC
Easy and Simple Setup
Limited Warranty
Cons: Device Specific:
Minor Connection issues when used with 2.0 MAC connection (must be plugged in in a certain way but beyond that it works fine)
Loose Part
Model-Wide:
Does not come with a travel case that can fit the usb connector as well
Cannot be formatt
Summary: Overall this is an excellent drive. No major complaints

Terrible External Hard Drive

Pros: NONE!. Format Takes forever, And the software is bad new's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: In order to back-up your computer you first need to
format the drive, It takes forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

forget about using the software that comes with
