Large storage, quiet, affordable, good warranty.

Pros: I purchased two of these a year ago and have been very pleased with them. With editing/producing various video projects (work, community events, family), it's important to have good back-ups. These units have been great, with no problems.
Cons: None so far (though I skipped use of included software).

Summary: The portability of these handy units has been great, and I've used them in backing up both a desktop and laptop. They've also been taken on the road for working on larger video projects. It's logical to handle external storage devices carefully, and I've been very pleased with their operation. In fact, I'm about to buy one more for another family member. Some similar units come with a one-year warranty, but these have a three-year warranty. So far, I've had no need to contact customer support, so I can't speak to that aspect of the company. I consider that a good thing!
