The good: The Panasonic E50 is an attractive LCD TV that offers a solid amount of features, including Smart TV, for the price. Picture quality is better than that of the much more expensive Panasonic DT50.
The bad: That said, picture quality isn't the best, with rival LCDs and plasmas providing better performance for the money. Colors are a little off and a lack of deep blacks and comprehensive shadow detail lets the set down. Uniformity is an issue with large splodges in black areas of the picture. The TV built-in lacks wireless connectivity.
The bottom line: The Panasonic E50 is a budget TV with a smattering of features but little to recommend in the way of picture quality.

Summary: I have a 50 inch panasonic plasma that's great (4 years old and still has amazing picture quality), but it's in a room that gets a lot of sunlight, making it almost impossible to watch in the daytime. I picked up this tv last week thinking that Panasonic knew what it was doing with LEDs. I was extremely disappointed with the picture quality and the sound quality. I regularly had to have this tv turned up to 90 (out of 100) to hear at a comfortable volume. I ended up returning the TV because the video quality was very bad. In bright white scenes there seemed to be a color blooming affect. In anycase, I returned in for the Toshiba 50 inch (5200) and that tv is far superior and around the same price.
