The good: The Philips PFL5907 LED TV has impressive picture quality for the price, anchored by relatively deep black levels, good shadow detail, and a natural color palette in most areas. The TV has a diverse feature set, including MediaConnect PC mirroring.
The bad: The Philips exhibited a really shallow optimal viewing angle. Colors could be better; its reds and blues lack the vibrancy of some of its rivals', while near blacks can look purple.
The bottom line: The Philips PFL5907 series has commendable picture quality and features, making it one of the better LED TV values.

Excellent picture quality!!!

NO FlashPlayer included

Pros: Philips offers a quality picture. Back lighting is nice.
Smart TV means you can go to normal video sites, but you cannot stream shows. Able to surf the internet, but slowly.
You can hook up to your computer and use it as a monitor.
Cons: Majority of video available on the internet today is viewed in FlashPlayer which Philips doesn't have.
Cannot add FlashPlayer. Cannot go video sites & stream shows in flash. No PBS NewsHour.
Expensive.
Too little RAM means the pages load very slowly

Philips Smart TV has no FlashPlayer and doesn't allow your to add it.
Therefore I give All Philips Smart TV models one star.
You are paying a large amount of money for the computer part of this television set. It has limited functions designed to be that way by Philips.
Philips needs to rethink what they are doing. It is too early to buy this TV. They have many improvements to make on future models.
Very slow response. More like a 1998 computer speed.
Recommend buying a large monitor for your computer and upgrading your PC with TV capabilities. You will be better served.
Surprised that the CNET editors didn't catch this, because I read their reviews before we bought ours. Do not make our mistake.
