Good value, stunning images and fully featured.

Pros: Lots of controls, good remote, love the USB movie playing feature. Fairly easy to set-up. Great black levels. A SD image is very clear, and the HD is mind blowing.
Cons: Slight blooming effects.
Summary: Great TV for the cost. Same basic functionality and picture as the 7 series for allot less $$.

Nestling inside the "Huge" box the UN40C6300 review model arrived in we found:
* The Television, (Not broken)
* A Stand
* Power Lead
* R/C
* Wi-fi Adapter (Nice)
* User Manual
* Warranty Card
* A set of Batteries
Setting up the Samsung UN40C6300;
This was an extremely easy job; the shipping carton is designed to lift over the lovely and slim LED Television, a great and risk free method of getting a very large object, the TV, into the world. (even 1 of me on my own can, and did do it)
The TV itself is extremely light for the size, 40 inches and only just over 30lbs, it is however still wise to locate in where it won't get bumped or knocked. The wall mounting is really the best, and only in our view, option.
Samsung UN40C6300 LED TV, a series 6, fits onto the included pedestal mount with the use of just a couple of screws. The stand adds some noticable weight to the set.
On the back you will find;
HDMI Inputs, 4 of these, located on the back, and the side.
USB Inputs, 2 - both on the back.
Component Video Input
PC Input (VGA D-Sub)
Optical Audio
Network Connection (RJ45)
Wi-Fi Port
Headphone Output
ANYNET Socket
More than anyone could need?
The TV automatically sets it self up after just a couple of deft keypresses in the intuative menu. It really is an easy setup wizard. The Samsung UN40C6300 does it all. In less than the time it takes you to make a cup of coffee in fact.
The picture quality is clean and uncluttered. There is absolutely zero motion judder and the colours are oh so "real" and fine.
The next thing we notice is how well the UN40C6300 manages to display darker images and scenes, the blacks are very; well, BLACK. No grey shades here.
LED back lighting technology has managed to remove one of the biggest issues that faced the previous, LCD sets and on the UN40C6300 is put to excellent use.
We see that the image clarity is perfect, or as close to perfect as we've seen in any LCD / LED set. Only bettered by the more expensive Pioneer Plasma TV's.
I just love the TV, and at $800 you CANNOT go wrong.
Hope you enjoyed my review.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

We really like our new Samsung 40 6300 LCD LED
by gconrads on January 5, 2011
Pros: Picture quality is fantastic, the TV, is super light, and looks great (form factor) in the room. Has plenty of HDMI inputs.
Cons: It only has one component input which doubles as the composite input.
Summary: We recently purchased this television, and the picture quality and set up options have been perfect for us.

Looks great with HD, Blu Ray, PS3, XBox 360, Wii and standard def cable. In our case we have the Wii, which is composite and the standard def cable which is composite, and we wanted to use broadcast HD as well. Which meant we need to order a new cable adapter for our wii.
Bottom line, I would recommend this product to someone looking for an LED LCD display.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Good TV, wish I would have waited.
by jpod144 on December 2, 2010
Pros: Best picture for the size and quality at the time. I settled for a TV that cost 2X as much as the plasma that I wanted due to size constrictions.
Cons: Lack of features and the fact that it is 1/2 the cost not even 6 months after release. Wish it had Netflix, I have to steam it through my xbox. I don't want to fry my Xbox.
Summary: Good picture. No relevant features such as netflix, and streaming is hard. Jumpy on the 120Hz selections, that is the reason I bought it. If you are a gamer go ...
Summary: Good picture. No relevant features such as netflix, and streaming is hard. Jumpy on the 120Hz selections, that is the reason I bought it. If you are a gamer go plasma, this is a great TV for the size but you can get a plasma at a much better price. I settled and now I regret it. Do your research!

Great LED TV for the money
by stewartjds on November 15, 2010
Pros: Great picture and features.
Cons: Need to play with the adjustments to get the picture you want. I wish the HDMI ports pointed down rather than to the side.
Summary: Good value.
