TV is ok, not exactly excellent though

Pros: + Great picture quality
+ Sound is great for an LED/LCD TV
+ Very easy to set up
+ Good controls and speed of menu, fast responding time
+ USB input - plays high definition MKV, AVI, etc.
Cons: - Only one SCART and 2 HDMI

Summary: I have to say, initial first look impressions were fairly OK, It has a very thin border around the TV- around 1cm, had a huge back to a 'modern' TV (especially where LED's are supposed to be much thinner, I have seen older models of this kind of TV more thinner than this! It is hard to believe this is 'new for 2012'.
It comes with a 'joystick'-like control function on the bottom- push in to bring up power off options (only has stand-by) push left or right to control volume, push forward and back to control channels. It has 3 HD channels- BBC 1 HD, ITV1 HD and Channel 4 HD.
Personally, It is running off an old ariel and so I can't rate the TV's picture quality based on the quality of the TV. It looks very pixelated to me, however with numerous occurrences with other semi-decent TV's tested on the ariel, it would seem that the TV quality is good. I tested it with my Samsung blu-ray player, the TV can emit good sound, rather than it sounding 'tinny' as which other reviews stated about similar models. The image is very good.
You can also select a certain theme to view the TV in- the 'Movie' style theme is probably the most life like as others come across as too vivid- showing on screen images as large pink blurs. There is only one SCART and 2 HDMI slots at the back. The stand is quite flimsy- wasnt a solid metal one like many others, try not to pick up the TV from the front- the TV will wobble from side to side on the stand.
The responding time that the TV has with the controller (i.e. scrolling down the freeview menu) is great, probably the fastest LED/LCD TV I have seen before.
IN BRIEF...
Overall, If I had a decent ariel Im sure with Samsung's top-quality- the picture would be great- as seen with the use of my Blu-Ray player. It was quite cheap for a decent make. It was quite fat in depth- around 10cm in depth at its largest part. Sound is great for an LED/LCD TV. Good controls and speed of menu's.

Overall would be a 4 star. With a thinner design, perhaps with rounded edges complementing its thin bordered design, it would most likely be a 5.
