Awful Picture + Horrendous Customer Service = RETURNED

Pros: This TV has a solid app package, but so do most other "Smart TV"s. Looks good for still pictures, RETURNABLE

Summary: Bought this TV against by better judgement. I had a 46" Samsung DLP that was nothing but problems (4 bulbs in 5 years, white spots all over the screen, and horrible customer service), and after needing yet another bulb I decided to just replace the whole thing altogether. I looked at several models and the UN55D6000 had everything I was looking for so I decided to give it another go. BIG mistake.
After hooking it up and sitting down to enjoy my first Bluray movie (on a new Samsung Bluray player) I was really impressed at the picture until things started to move. ANY movement on the screen was blurred and pixelated, and the flashlight effect was very evident in dark scenes. It was awful. (All connections were made with high end HDMI cables)
Watching TV was even worse. Granted I have Time Warner, so it's not 1080p, but it was almost unwatchable. Again, the picture is FANTASTIC when nothing is moving, but movement was very "herky Jerky" almost like it was skipping frames. Even people walking!! Then about every 5-10 minutes the screen would freeze for a split second and we would loose all sound for about 3 seconds, then the screen would flash blueand return to normal. At first I thought it was the old cable box that we had for YEARS, so I returned that and got a brand new converter, but that didn't help at all. We even had the cable people out to check our signal, they classifed it as "Very Strong".
I went on all the Samsung forums and read all the "tips" on improving performance, but they didn't help either. The best I could get it was to turn Motion Plus off completely. All the Motion Plus does is help scrolling text at the bottom of the screen, anything else it makes blurrier, not clearer. Most advice you will see is to turn it off completely. That was one of the reasons that I bought this TV, to watch fast action scenes clearer.
On to the internet apps, they all worked well, except for Netflix. The images would fade in and out and it would constantly pause and loose picture for no reason. It's not my connection because Vudu worked flawlessly, and I use Netflix on my XBox with NO problems.
