Pros: Picture quality is excellent. Black levels and lighting uniformity are very good compared to edge lit LED sets. Has Sharp XGen display per the label on the box. Actual display size is quite large at just over 60" Matt screen is good for bright rooms
Cons: Bezel is quite thick, as is the total depth. Settings options appear to be a little basic. The number and types of connections available No "Smart" apps. Speaker output is only 16w CCFL backlighting is not as energy efficient as LED.

Summary: Purchased this set yesterday at BB for an unbeleivable $699. This lower lower end CCFL LCD was not originally on my wish list but I could not pass on the price. It replaced my old 56" Samsung DLP and I have to say the the difference in picture quality is absolutely night and day. The bezel is quite thick as is the overall depth compared to the edge lit LED LCD's I had been shopping, but for the price I payed I am more that happy with it. I have a PS3 that I use for accessing online apps so I dont need the Smart features or the price that comes with it I also have home theater audio so TV speakers are disabled. Out of the box the picture was very bright and whitewashed. I found that disabling dynamic contrast and reducing the backlight level resolved most of this, additional picture tweaking perfected the PQ. If you are looking for a BIG screen TV with excellent picture quality but dont care about having tons of fancy features, connectivity options, 3d and great sound this is a great choice.
Pros: 1) Easy Set Up 2) Great Picture 3) Awesome Value
Cons: 1) Only 3 HDMI inputs 2) No Optical Audio output 3) Tough to set up with Harmony remote

Summary: Bought this TV at a local `Open Box` store for $849, not only because of the price, but, when I looked at the pic on this TV compared to a 55 inch LED next to it, I preferred the richness of this LCD wonder. I took it home and set up was a breeze. The 3 HDMI inputs were just enough (cable, DVD and XBOX). The only issue I have is with the sound. There is no optical out, only a digital coax out, that doesnt seem to have an audio output from HDMI inputs. I use the Digital coax on my HTPC (connected to the 15pin VGA input), which sounds great! I replaced an LG 60 inch Plasma with this, and I truly DO NOT regret it!!! Great Value, awesome picture, what a DEAL!!!!
