  Sharp's Quatron (four color) LC60LE820UN is their top model for the foreseeable future. It is available in 52, 46, and 40 as well as the massive 60". For those trying to save cash, the lower priced 810 series still packs powerhouse performance (though the 820 provides a unique aesthetic and an extra 1,000,000:1 contrast).
  
  The 60" Quatron stands out from the pack with a unique chromed bezel and single-layer pane. It has a swivel base and unlike last years large Sharp LCDs is THIN at about 1.25" deep.
  
  While missing the boat on 3D, Sharp did include IPTV features, and may be onto something with their 4 color addition to the pixel. Skin tones are more realistic, the wooden floors displayed in the NBA Playoffs have looked amazing, Bee Movie "pops", Iron Man's golden armor is unrivaled, the sunset desert scenes in Transformers 2 are superior. The color depth in these sets rivals the the best plasmas, but with the brightness of LED.
  
  Last years Sharp LED's had a reputation on cnet for being the most energy efficient LED. And that's pretty much it. Viking purple was blue. Sharp had a bright LED last year, but hadn't quite figured it out. This 2010 model sets a new standard for the field. Color is rich. The set is sleek.
  
  Downsides are the 120Hz (motion does blur slightly), and the lack of 3D. Sharp also seems to think it's "okay" (as do all other Brands except Toshiba and Vizio) to make you purchase a "dongle" separately.
  
  This series may be THE sets to own for 2010 for those that could care less about 3D.

  Great TV!!! at first

  Pros: LED, Contrast ratio, Life like picture

  Cons: After about 1 year the sharp symbol (upside down V) started blinking when we turned it on. We called our retailer (hhgregg) and they said we had a defective panel. There is no way to repair it unless you just get a new TV. Luckily we had A 5 YEAR WARRANTY

  great picture on hd channels

  Pros: great picture on hd channels as a matter of fact the hd channels look better on this lead lcd then my 61" panasonic dlp, audio is good, very quiet set, large screen, several picture adjust settings

  Cons: non hd channels look worse on this set then they do on my panasonic dlp hd tv. I just purchased the other day so I may come back and update this part
