  Best bang for your buck hands down...

  Summary: Purchased my LC-60LE640U about a month ago and I am still very pleased with the product. I viewed this model at BestBuy, the floor model was being featured directly next to a Samsung 60' LED model and I clearly saw the immediate difference between the two. The Sharp
  's images/picture quality and overall color accuracy IMO were far better than the Samsung being displayed next to it . I currently have a 52' Sharp Aquos in my man cave at home and love it. My wife and I wanted something a bit larger for our living room upstairs and this was absolutely perfect. Matte screen is definitely a plus as well, since our living room space has a good amount of light coming in but even so, there is very minimal glare if any at all. Overall, the clarity that this TV produces I feel is exceptional. The only problem that I did notice was with slight instances of motion blur during fast paced scenes and sometimes when objects criss-crossed each other during movies/shows. Again, this was NOT a deal breaker for me since it only happens every now and then and there are plenty of ways to reduce the blur with proper calibration. HD movies almost appear 3D like even though the TV is not. Images are extremely life-like and very detailed and crisp. I currently have FIOS as my cable provider and i must say most of the channels look excellent on this TV. NOTE>during sports events, primarily Football, Golf, Baseball, Soccor, and Hockey you may notice that the balls, pucks etc. may produce a "double image". I found that if you turn the motion enhancement from 120hz to off it will eliminate the the "ghosting" effect, especially when balls are flying or during slap shots in hockey or with any sport that has trajectory items being used. Basketball seems to be just fine. Can't think of anything else at this point, but i will say that anyone who decides to purchase this TV will undoubtedly be happy, not only in the beginning but in the long run as well.

  Great TV, crisp picture on FIOS and Blue Ray

  Pros: Picture quality, all the HDMI & audio/video connections you will ever need, menu's and navigation are pretty good.

  Cons: None yet - I will update this review if I find something wrong.

  Summary: Bottom line, this is fantastic LED so far. I bought the 60 inch model from Best Buy on 2/24 as a replacment for an old TV in our family room. This is our first Sharp - I own 2 Samsung LCDs (32 and 52 inch) and was nervous going with a different brand. But after some research, I found that when you get up in the 60 inch range and above, Sharp seems to have more model options and at a better price point than Samsung.
  
  Right out of the box, I used the "standard" picture setting and it's perfect for our family room which is bright. We have Verizon FIOS and use a Sony Blue Ray player: both produce an amazing, crisp picture on this LED.
  
  No issues so far, but if I find anything I will update this review. Since this was a new TV for 2012, it's hard to find reviews on these models - hopefully CNET will post some soon. Would be interested to hear their take on this series from Sharp.

  Summary: I picked up one of these at Target last week. Setting it up was a snap, the HDMI ARC works great with my Denon 1913 receiver, so I only need the one cable to send sound through my HT speakers.
  
  Picture quality out of the box was impressive in Standard mode once I turned off Film Mode. I applied the CNET settings to the Movie mode and it is just outstanding in a dark room. Contrast, shadow detail, and color saturation are all just right.
  
  My major complaint is with the backlight uniformity. The screen shows slight blotchiness when the backlight is on with a black screen, like when you switch inputs, but that is not noticeable even on dark programming. However, there is a blotchy area about 1/4 of the way from the left side of the screen that is noticeably brighter and is sometimes visible when the camera pans in dark scenes. This would probably be a deal breaker with a more expensive set, but the overall PQ is so good that I am willing to live with it.
  
  I originally didn't care about apps -- I would frankly be plenty happy with a "dumb TV" -- but I have to admit it's convenient to have these. They work OK; the Netflix interface isn't as good as the one on my XBox 360 but it is sufficient. The weakness there is that the wifi range is pretty poor. Both this TV and my Linksys wifi router is also in the basement, and yet I only get one bar on the TV's wifi signal meter. Meanwhile, the XBox 360 and the Blu-Ray player that I have in the living room located right above this TV both get 4 bars, even though they're the same horizontal distance and one floor up. I'll have to switch to a wired connection if I want to seriously use the apps on this TV.
  
  Overall, I am happy with this TV; despite a couple of flaws it is a good deal.
