The good: The relatively affordable Sony EX645 offers deep-enough black levels for the money and commendable color saturation. The design is attractive and the menu system is easy to use.
The bad: We detected a couple of uniformity issues, black areas can look blue under lights, and shadow detail isn't up there with the better TVs. The SEN portion of the Smart TV interface is so slow that it's kind of a waste.
The bottom line: Sony has upgraded its EX645 series TV with onboard wireless providing even better value given its predecessor's already solid picture quality.

Pros: led back light
wifi built in
good picture quality
syncs with sony audio equiptment
Cons: built in speakers limited range..(i dont use them..)
like almost all lcds limited viewing angle..fine for me..

Summary: This was a pre black friday sale at 699..At that price it was a good deal..Wifi connected on first try (HINT AFTER setup, unplug router for 1 minute, then reconnect)..very pleased with set.. I would not use 3d, so dont miss it..useing all hdmi connections and a tosslink for audio makes things easy..TV was assembled in Mexico.. to me that s better than Asan..I trust Sony more for warantee than other asian companies...
This replaced a Toshiba lcd with ccfl backlighting..that produced alot of heat and shortened the sets life..
