Summary: I bought this controller to replace my Nyko AirFlo EX when the top left trigger button died. Any true gamer knows that's a CRUCIAL button. This and the same pad w/ rumble were the only two my local best buy offers, and I didn't want to wait for any online purchases to ship to me. The good news: Best Buy, for five bucks, offers a two-year protection plan. If a button/stick dies, if you get ticked and slam into five pieces, Best Buy will either replace it for free or give you purchase price+tax in store credit. Nuff sed about the plan. The controller works very well, and my gaming has not suffered from adjusting to a new controller. Also, because it is EA's controller of choice (and more mainstream), it auto-configs to the appropriate game profile half the time, and easier than my Nyko to manually configure the rest of the time. I have not experianced any functionality errors or profile drops that other reviewers ahve posted. The only downsides are the minimalist software (configure button activity and nothing else), and the uninspired design. It lacks the sexiness of other mainstream controllers, notably anything in the Siatek line, but it does its job just fine. So unless you want to display it on your mantle, this controller is fine.

Cheap, programmable, with lots of buttons, but it feels like its price, and is hard to program.
by fragasnap on March 14, 2006
Pros: Computer notices it as soon as it's plug it in, you can program it for any game, you can set it to change when you start up a game, has many buttons, is cheap, and doesn't need batteries.
Cons: It feels pretty cheap, the d-pad diagonal directions don't work very well, it's a bit hard to program, the sticks sometimes think you're holding right or down, and it has a cord.
Summary: Over-all, if you don't have enough money to get something else (or your getting a menagerie of new games), go on ahead and get this, otherwise, you probably ought ...

Pros: The 'standard' Playstation layout is familiar
Simple Plug&play
Can be used on games such as Lost Planet and be detected, sometimes as an xbox 360 controller.
Can be used for the PS3
D-Pad/Analog switch
Cons: Odd feel
An odd square field of motion around the analog stick
The wingman software doesent work properly on Vista 64bit
Summary: While a cheap gamepad. its fairly decent. It works good for what i wanted it for. it worked on the PS3 when i need it to. For the price its ...

Good Gamepad
by pat1202003 on November 26, 2007
Pros: I've had this for about 3 years and I had no problems with it. I've used it on XP and Vista, works fine. Just like a PS2 controller (only without the rumble).
Cons: None at all.
