Definately keeps to its name (and im not just saying it because of the name either)
by nintendude7cubed on September 5, 2007
Pros: Snazzy and easy on the eyes cell shading, much more humor enterprited in this one, short but sweet compared to others.
Cons: sailing...and sailing...and sailing....and sailing... back and fourth. it still takes at least 5 minutes when you have the song that takes you wherever.
Summary: definately my favorite zelda game of the three ive played (ocarina, twilight, this one). Its short no doubt, but this one is definately still "zelda-esque". This one came after all ...
Summary: definately my favorite zelda game of the three ive played (ocarina, twilight, this one). Its short no doubt, but this one is definately still "zelda-esque". This one came after all the gameboy remakes with ocarina of time being the previous console zelda game. They are all fantastic, but the cool cartoony look makes it very fun and humorous which you can definately tell is what nintendo was trying to do here. All of links expressions of anger, happiness, and sadness are both adorable and hilarious. The storyline is solid and simple which i like. His sister gets kidnapped and you just so happen to live across the sand path from a sword trainer who also happens to have an extra sword on hand (i think). anyway before his sis gets kidnapped, link notices first that the kidnapper (who is a bird) dropps this other girl into these woods where he finds shes a pirate and goes with them to help save his sister. And then (just like the rest of the games) at this point you are so into the game, you just don't want to stop but have to either cuz you gotta go to bed, work, school, dinner, etc.. in which at this point you can save in fact, you can save at absolutely any point where when you go back to the game and enter in the room you were just in before. very easy to get back into the game. except in dungeons (which you have to start aaaaaall the way back at the entrance). Thats probably the only depressing part besides all the sailing and sailing every which way. Fortunately about half way through the game, you get taught a song which you can warp to certain regions of the map which saves TONS of time.

A fun game 2 play but don't expect another ocarina of time
by suikerman on January 7, 2006
Pros: good story, spectacular fighting
Cons: after a while the sailing gets boring and annoying, ony a few dungeons
Summary: While its a good zelda game for gamecube and the cell shading style is really nice, i feel that nintendo rushed this game.

The sailing is a cool twist to the zelda game but you're very limited and you constantly have to change the wind directions (wich is very annoying after a while).
There are accuratly 5 dungeons in this game (ganon's tower included) wich is very little for a zelda game. ( ocarina of time had 8 dugeons and was larger in playing time.
Thank god this time nintendo is taking it's time for Twilight Princess. (delayed for more content in the game) -

Great game, OOT Zelda still best
Pros: This is a great game. The graphics don't make the game bad. As many reviews say, you forgot about it. And, you do. The storyline is very impressive and the popular villian Ganondorf makes his way into the game as the seal in Hyrule that had kept him away
Cons: More land travel, water is nice, but a little more land. Add a few more dungeons to make the quest longer meaning more fun and excitement. When exploring Hyrule underwater beneath The Great Sea, allow it to be accessible.

What have they done
Pros: none
Cons: This is a compleatly differnt game. The only reason it was given such a high grade was because of its name. If this game was called something else then its grade would have been much lower. Windwaker is a compleatly differnt game that dose not follow t
