  Adequate but not as Advertised

  Pros: 1. device is small and easy to operate
  2. dog can be located with tracking

  Cons: 1 battery cannot be changed
  2 zone cannot be customized
  3 safety zone is too large
  4 notifications left zone delayed & or not made
  5 have not gotten email notifications
  6 have not gotten low battery or off notifications
  7 subscription required

  Summary: I bought this device after seeing it reviewed on Martha Stewart. It does not do what it is advertised to do. It will not notify you immediately as soon as your dog leaves the yard. There is a 10 to 30 minute delay. If you dog left and reenters in less than 15 min, it won't even notify. Also, the secure zone in your yard cannot be customized. You choose from several sizes which are in a round area. And the smallest is too large for my one acre backyard and for my 2 acre yard. However, I can go to the website and find her current location if I have lost her. There is a 30 day trial that will allow you to try it in your area. But, although you can cancel the subscription, you already bought the device. Be sure to see if you can return it if you don't like the service. The phone support staff have heavy accents that are very difficult to understand.I read other reviews that they are from India. The rechargeable battery cannot be removed or changed when it stops working. I have not gotten any email notifications. I have not gotten any low battery or off notifications on phone or email. I decided to keep the service for this year due to nothing else currently available to find my dog if she escapes. What I want is a GPS that will notify me immediately if she leaves my fenced yard and will also track her. Ihave a rescued shar-pei who has escaped and entered the highway. She is also dog aggressive and could get in a fight with loose neighborhood dogs if I don't find out she has gotten loose quickly. If I could be notified immediately, we could be home in 10 min to get her before she wandered farther off. Waiting the 15 min to be notified to cause me to lose her in the highway or street.
